Abstract. Indonesia is one of the most active tectonic regions in the world with a volcano that is still active over 70 volcanoes, and has many geothermal areas. The source of volcanic springs is a spring that is produced as a result of water from the Earth's crust after geothermal heating. In hot water There are the elements of the Lantanum (La), iron (Fe), Iterbium (Yb), Itrium (Y), Magnesium (Mg), Neodinium (Nd), Samarium (Sm), Serium (Ce), and Sulfur (S). Volcanic hot springs are utilized by locals and migrants to treat diseases, because they believe in having the efficacy of treating skin diseases. Natural sulfur hot water has many wills one of them remove toxins from the body, tired, stroke and others. Ethnomedisin embraces the belief in the relationship between the body and the disease, along with social norms, to bring about the habits that pertains to when, why, how and who to look for to provide relief. Based on the results of the literature study that has been done that the potential of volcanic hot spring in etnomedisin minerals have activity can cure or reduce the symptoms of diseases that are itching, stroke and can relax stiff muscles. Indonesia merupakan salah satu kawasan tektonik yang paling aktif di dunia dengan gunung merapi yang masih aktif lebih dari 70 gunung merapi, dan memiliki banyak daerah geotermal. Sumber mata air vulkanik merupakan mata air yang dihasilkan akibat keluarnya air dari tanah kerak bumi setelah mengalami pemanasan geothermal. Didalam air panas terdapatnya kandungan unsur-unsur Lantanum (La), Besi (Fe), Iterbium(Yb), Itrium(Y), Magnesium (Mg), Neodinium (Nd), Samarium (Sm), Serium (Ce), dan Sulfur (S). Air panas vulkanik di manfaatkan oleh warga setempat maupun pendatang untuk mengobati penyakit, karena di percaya memiliki khasiat untuk mengobati penyakit kulit. Air panas belerang alami memiliki banyak kasiat salah satunya mengeluarkan racun toksin dari dalam tubuh, lelah, stroke dan lain lain. Etnomedisin meliputi kepercayaan mengenai hubungan antara tubuh dengan penyakit, bersama dengan norma sosial, memunculkan kebiasaan yang berkenaan dengan kapan, kenapa, bagaimana dan siapa yang harus dicari untuk memberikan bantuan. Berdasarkan hasil studi literatur yang telah dilakukan bahwa potensi sumber mata air panas vulkanik dalam etnomedisin mineral memiliki aktivitas dapat menyembuhkan atau mengurangi gejala penyakit yaitu gatal gatal, stroke dan bisa merelaksasi otot yang kaku. Dan juga sumber air panas kawah vulkanik memiliki potensi untuk di kembangkan sebagai bahan baku obat yang berasal dari mineral salah satunya pembuatan sabun sulfur.Kata Kunci: Mata air panas, vulkanik, Mineral, Etnomedisin. |
