Abstract. In general, drugs that are available on the market are intended for adults in the form of tablets, pills and capsules, whereas if the preparations in tablets or capsules given to pediatric patients tend to find it difficult to use, so it is necessary to compounding the drug into a preparation pulveres (divided powder) or syrup. However, the final product of the compound preparation consists of many components that are not known with certainty so that it can reduce the quality of the drug preparation. This literature study aims to determine the quality of pulveres concoction preparations for pediatric patients from aspects of dose inaccuracy, uniform content/ content and weight, biological stability, physics, chemistry, and the potential for drug interactions. The research method was carried out by using the google chrome browser on the google.com site with the keywords "journal preparations" "Compounding drugs", and "Quality of concoctions". The data are taken from journals that have been indexed by SINTA and Scopus.The results of this literature study show that the compounding process which involves changing the dosage form of tablets into pulveres or by making the compounding process can reduce quality including uniformity of content/ content and weight, impaired physical, chemical and biological stability, and the risk of interactions drugs and side effects.Keywords: pediatric, Pulveres, Inaccuracy of dosage, uniformity of content and weight, biological stability, chemical, physics, drug interactionsAbstrak. Pada umumnya obat-obat yang telah tersedia di pasaran ditujukan untuk orang dewasa dalam bentuk tablet, pil dan kapsul, sedangkan jika sediaan dalam bentuk tablet atau kapsul diberikan kepada pasien anak-anak cenderung akan merasa kesulitan dalam penggunaannya, sehingga perlu dilakukan peracikan obat menjadi sediaan pulveres (serbuk terbagi) atau sirup. Namun, produk akhir dari sediaan racikan terdiri dari banyak komponen yang tidak diketahui dengan pasti sehingga dapat menurunkan kualitas dari sediaan obat. Studi literatur ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kualitas sediaan racikan pulveres untuk pasien pediatri dari aspek ketidaktepatan dosis, keseragaman kandungan/kadar dan bobot, stabilitas biologi, fisika, kimia, dan potensi terjadinya interaksi obat. Metode penelitian dilakukan dengan menggunakan browser google chrome pada situs google.com dengan kata kunci “jurnal sediaan racikan” “Compounding drugs”, dan “Kualitas sediaan racikan”. Data diambil dari jurnal yang telah terindeks SINTA dan Scopus. Hasil dari studi literatur ini menunjukkan bahwa terjadinya proses peracikan yang melibatkan perubahan bentuk sediaan tablet menjadi sediaan pulveres atau dengan dilakukannya proses peracikan dapat menurunkan kualitas meliputi keseragaman kandungan/kadar dan bobot, stabilitas yang terganggu baik dari fisik, kimia dan biologi, dan risiko terjadinya interaksi obat dan efek samping.
