Abstract. This study aims to determine the LQ45 Index stock which is included in the optimal portfolio and the expected level of profit and risk of the portfolio formed. The type of research used in this research is descriptive research with a quantitative approach. This study uses secondary data in the form of stock prices in October 2013 - June 2020. The method of analysis used is a single index model method. This research method is expected to provide benefits for investors to assist the decision-making process in forming an optimal portfolio using a single index model so that investors and potential investors can choose the best investment alternative. To minimize risk, investors need to carry out an optimal portfolio to calculate the worst possible loss by knowing the position of the asset, the level of confidence in the occurrence of risk, and the time period for placing the asset. The optimal portfolio really depends on the accuracy of the analysis of investors in observing and analyzing the market. In the formation of the optimal portfolio of LQ45 stocks using a single index model, (1) thirteen stocks were selected and (2) the portfolio risk level was 2.34% and the expected return of the portfolio was 2.68%.Keywords: Single Index Model, Optimal Portfolio, LQ45Abstrak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui saham Indeks LQ45 yang termasuk portofolio optimal dan tingkat keuntungan yang diharapkan dan risiko dari portofolio yang terbentuk Jenis penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Penelitian ini menggunakan data sekunder berupa harga saham pada bulan Oktober 2013 – Juni 2020. Metode analisis yang digunakan adalah menggunakan metode model indeks tunggal. Metode penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan manfaat bagi para investor untuk membantu proses pengambilan keputusan dalam membentuk portofolio optimal dengan menggunakan model indeks tunggal sehingga para investor dan calon investor dapat memilih alternatif investasi terbaik. Untuk meminimalkan risiko, investor perlu melakukan portofolio optimal untuk menghitung besarnya kerugian terburuk yang dapat terjadi dengan mengetahui posisi aset, tingkat kepercayaan akan terjadinya risiko, dan jangka waktu penempatan aset. Portofolio yang optimal sangat bergantung pada analisis ketepatan para investor dalam mencermati dan menganalisis pasar. Pada pembentukan portofolio optimal saham LQ45 menggunakan model indeks tunggal dipilih (1) tiga belas saham dan (2) untuk tingkat risiko portofolio sebesar 2,34% dan expected return portofolio sebesar 2,68%.Kata Kunci: Model Indeks Tunggal, Portfolio Optimal, LQ45 |
