Abstract. The method used in this research is the fuzzy time series method developed by Hao Tien Liu in 2009 based on the fuzzy time series method by Hwang et al. in 1998. This method revised Hwang's fuzzy time series method to overcome the weaknesses of interval length (l) and number of intervals, determination of window base (w), membership degree values in fuzzy sets, and the existence of outliers. This study uses data on the number of registrants at Unisba in the years 2006-2019 to predict the number of registrants in 2020. Data is free from outliers on the 3rd Rstudent test. MAPE is used as a measure of forecasting accuracy. The best forecasting results obtained using the fuzzy time series method at l = 90 and w = 3 with a MAPE of 9.51%, namely the number of new student registrants at Unisba in 2020 of 12,248 people. It is known that the actual data on the number of new student registrants at Unisba in 2020 is 11,654. The forecast value obtained is quite close to the actual value so that it can be said that this method is quite good in predicting the number of new student applicants at Unisba in 2020.Keywords: fuzzy time series, forecasting, window base, outliers, interval length.Abstrak. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini merupakan metode fuzzy time series yang dikembangkan oleh Hao Tien Liu pada tahun 2009 berdasarkan metode fuzzy time series oleh Hwang dkk. pada tahun 1998. Metode ini merevisi metode fuzzy time series Hwang untuk mengatasi kelemahan panjang interval (l) dan jumlah interval, penentuan window base (w), nilai-nilai derajat keanggotaan dalam himpunan fuzzy, dan keberadaan pencilan. Penelitian ini menggunakan data jumlah pendaftar di Unisba pada tahun 2006-2019 untuk meramalkan jumlah pendaftar pada tahun 2020. Didapat data yang bebas pencilan pada tes Rstudent ke-3. Sebagai ukuran ketepatan peramalan digunakan MAPE. Diperoleh hasil peramalan terbaik menggunakan metode fuzzy time series pada l = 90 dan w = 3 dengan MAPE sebesar 9,51% yaitu jumlah pendaftar mahasiswa baru di Unisba pada tahun 2020 sebesar 12.248 orang. Diketahui data aktual jumlah pendaftar mahasiswa baru di Unisba tahun 2020 yaitu sebesar 11.654. Nilai peramalan yang diperoleh cukup mendekati nilai aktualnya sehingga bisa dikatakan metode ini cukup baik dalam meramalkan jumlah pendaftar mahasiswa baru di Unisba pada tahun 2020.Kata Kunci: fuzzy time series, peramalan, window base, pencilan, panjang interval.
