Abstract. One of the strategies for developing rural areas is with a growth center to spur the surrounding villages. The research objectives are (1) to examine the structure of growth center villages, (2) to examine the application of smart village implementation, (3) to examine the relationship between smart villages and growth center villages. The study used a descriptive analysis approach, quantitative in nature based on secondary data analysis. The research area covers all villages in Ciwidey District. The analysis technique uses location accessibility analysis, gravity, schalogram, centrality index, hierarchical cluster method and spearman level correlation analysis. The result was Ciwidey Village as the main DPP, Panyocok Village alternative DPP and other villages as supporters. In the smart village concept, Ciwidey Village is the village with the highest smart village application, then Lebakmuncang Village and other villages still need to be improved. The connection between the DPP and the smart village concept is that the two can influence each other, especially in the service hierarchy and strategic location. From these conditions, a growth center with a smart village can be realized to align village potential with current global developments, especially technology, so that the quality of life for rural communities increases.Keywords: Growth Center, Smart Village.Abstrak. Salah satu strategi pembangunan wilayah perdesaan adalah dengan pusat pertumbuhan untuk memacu desa-desa sekitarnya. Tujuan penelitian (1) mengkaji struktur desa pusat pertumbuhan, (2) mengkaji aplikasi penerapan smart village, (3) mengkaji hubungan smart village dengan desa pusat pertumbuhan. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan analisis deskriptif, bersifat kuantitatif berbasis analsis data sekunder. Lingkup daerah penelitian seluruh desa di Kecamatan Ciwidey. Teknik analisis menggunakan analisis aksesibilitas lokasi, gravitasi, skalogram, indeks sentralitas, cluster metode hirarki serta analisis korelasi tata jenjang spearman. Hasilnya Desa Ciwidey sebagai DPP-Utama, Desa Panyocokan sebagai DPP-Alternatif dan desa lain sebagai pendukung. Pada konsep smart village Desa Ciwidey menjadi desa paling tinggi aplikasi smart village, kemudian Desa Lebakmuncang serta desa lain masih perlu dilakukan peningkatan. Keterkaitan DPP dan konsep smart village adalah keduanya dapat saling mempengaruhi khususnya pada hirarki pelayanan serta lokasi yang strategis. Dari kondisi tersebut pusat pertumbuhan dengan smart village dapat diwujudkan untuk menyelaraskan potensial desa dengan perkembangan global saat ini khususnya teknologi, sehingga kualitas kehidupan masyarakat wilayah perdesaan meningkat.Kata Kunci: Pusat Pertumbuhan, Smart Village. |
