dc.description Abstract. CV. Amatex is a textile company that produces sarong fabrics. The problems experienced by the company are that suppliers sometimes send different threads series, causing the size of the thread not to be the same, engine interference during production due to spare parts that have oil leakage resulting in dirty sarong fabric, and between the lungs and feed does not wean so that there is a defect of fabric such as perforated and disconnection. CV. Amatex has a disability tolerance limit of 2%, but some months exceed the limit of 3%. The statistical method for collecting, analyzing data, and controlling quality standards of production results at a low level of disability and cost is Statistical Quality Control (SQC). The Total Quality Engineering (TQE) method is used to control and identify product quality issues that occur from the beginning to the end of production. Based on the results of data collection and processing using both methods can be known defects that occur in the fabric of the sarong including perforated fabric, break lusi, thread size, and dirty.Keywords: Quality Control, Statistic Quality Control (SQC), Total Quality Engineering (TQE).Abstrak. CV. Amatex merupakan perusahaan tekstil yang memproduksi kain sarung. Permasalahan yang dialami perusahaan diantanya supplier terkadang mengirimkan benang yang berbeda seri sehingga menyebabkan ukuran benang tidak sama, gangguan mesin pada saat produksi akibat sparepart yang mengalami kebocoran oli sehingga mengakibatkan kain sarung kotor, dan antara lungsi dan pakan tidak menganyam sehingga terjadi kecacatan kain seperti berlubang dan putus lusi. CV. Amatex mempunyai batas toleransi kecacatan sebesar 2%, tetapi beberapa bulan melebihi batas sebesar 3%. Metode statistika untuk mengumpulkan, menganalisis data, serta mengendalikan standar kualitas hasil produksi pada tingkat kecacatan dan biaya yang rendah adalah Statistical Quality Control (SQC). Metode Total Quality Engineering (TQE) digunakan untuk mengendalikan dan mengidentifikasi permasalahan kualitas produk yang terjadi mulai dari awal sampai proses akhir produksi. Berdasarkan hasil pengumpulan dan pengolahan data menggunakan kedua metode tersebut dapat diketahui kecacatan yang terjadi pada kain sarung diantaranya kain berlubang, putus lusi, ukuran benang, dan kotor.Kata Kunci: Pengendalian Kualitas, Statistic Quality Control (SQC), Total Quality Engineering (TQE).
