Abstract: Le This study aims to analyze the meaning of nonverbal communication in the formation of meaning in the film "Dua Garis Biru". The method used is a qualitative research method using a semiotic approach with the theory of John Fiske. The data collection technique uses John Fiske's semiotic system which examines the level of reality, representation, and ideology of the meaning of nonverbal communication contained in the film Dua Garis Biru. Sources of data obtained are obtained through library research, internet searching, interviews, and observations. Based on the results of the research, it can be concluded that in the film "Dua Garis Biru" there is a meaning of nonverbal communication contained in John Fiske's theory, such as: At the level of film reality, it can be seen in the behavior, expression, and the dialogue used in the scene that are very representative of the main character who is still sit in school, then at the level of representation, seen from the use of implied meanings and symbols in the film, it strengthens the scenes contained therein, and the ideological level in the film Dua Garis Biru is where, in particular, a student must know what risks will be obtained before they do something. The pros and cons of these risks must be accounted forKeywords: John Fiske’s Semiotics, Mass Communication, Nonverbal Communication sda.Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis makna komunikasi nonverbal dalam pembentukan makna di film “Dua Garis Biru”. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode penelitian kualitatif dengan menggunakan pendekatan semiotika dengan teori dari John Fiske. Teknik pengumpulan data dengan menggunakan system semiotika dari John Fiske yang meneliti level realitas, representasi, dan ideologi dari makna komunikasi nonverbal yang terkandung dalam film Dua Garis Biru. Sumber data yang diperoleh didapatkan melalui studi kepustakaan, internet searching, wawancara, dan observasi. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan, bahwa dalam film “Dua Garis Biru” terdapat makna komunikasi nonverbal yang terkandung dalam teori John Fiske, seperti: Pada level realitas film, terlihat dalam perilaku, ekspresi, dan dialog yang digunakan dalam adegan sangat mewakili pemeran utama yang masih duduk di bangku sekolah, lalu pada level representasi dilihat dari penggunakan makna dan simbol yang tersirat dalam film memperkuat adegan yang terkandung didalamnya, dan level ideologi dalam film Dua Garis Biru yaitu dimana khususnya seorang pelajar harus mengetahui resiko apa yang akan didapatkan sebelum mereka melakukan sesuatu hal. Baik dan buruknya resiko tersebut harus bisa dipertanggung jawabkan.Kata Kunci: Semiotika John Fiske, Komunikasi Massa, Komunikasi Nonverbal |
