Abstract. The phenomenon that occurs in MSMEs shows that the Lack of application of Total Quality Management and Leadership Style so that the performance of employees in providing business services is not good. The application of Total Quality Management and Leadership Style is able to improve employee performance in a company. The increasing employee performance, the greater the company is able to improve company performance. This study aims to be able to explain the application of Total Quality Management and Leadership Style to employee performance at MSMEs in Karawang Regency. This study used a survey method with a quantitative approach. The data source used is the primary data source with data collection techniques using a questionnaire. The population in this study was the UMKM in Karawang Regency and the sample used in this study was the Photocopy Service UMKM in Karawang Regency. The sampling technique used in this study is non-probability sampling with convenience sampling technique. The results showed that the application of Total Quality Management had an effect on employee performance, and Leadership style had an effect on employee performance.Keywords: Implementation of Total Quality Management, Leadership Style, Employee PerformanceAbstrak. Penerapan Total Quality Management dan Gaya Kepemimpinan mampu meningkatkan Kinerja Karyawan pada suatu perusahaan. Semakin meningkatnya kinerja Karyawan maka semakin besar puIa perusahaan mampu meningkatkan performa perusahaan. Fenomena yang terjadi pada UMKM di Kabupaten Karawang menunjukkan bahwa kurang diterapkannya Total Quality Management dan Gaya Kepemimpinan sehingga kinerja karyawan daIam memberikan peIayanan usaha kurang baik. PeneIitian ini bertujuan untuk mampu menjeIaskan penerapan Total Quality Management dan Gaya Kepemimpinan terhadap kinerja karyawan pada UMKM di Kabupaten Karawang. DaIam peneIitian ni menggunakan metode survey dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Sumber data yang digunakan adaIah sumber data primer dengan teknik pengumpuIan data menggunakan kuesioner. PopuIasi daIam peneIitian ini adaIah UMKM di Kabupaten Karawang dan sampeI yang digunakan daIam peneIitian ini adaIah UMKM Jasa Fotocopy di Kabupaten Karawang. Teknik penentuan sampeI yang digunakan daIam peneIitian ini adaIah teknik convenience sampling. HasiI peneIitian menunjukkan bahwa Penerapan Total Quality Management berpengaruh terhadap kinerja karyawan, dan gaya kepemimpinan berpengaruh terhadap kinerja karyawan.Kata Kunci: Penerapan TotaL QuaLity Management, Gaya Kepemimpinan, Kinerja Karyawan |
