Abstract. UMKM are one of the sectors that play an important role in the economy, but there are problems faced by UMKM, namely a lack of capital. Along with the development of alternative Financial Technology to obtain additional funds, namely Crowdfunding. However, there are many UMKM who do not know crowdfunding, both conventional and sharia. This study aims to determine the level of UMKM preference and the factors that determine it for sharia and conventional crowdfunding financing in Java. This research uses quantitative research with a descriptive approach. The method used is a field survey by distributing questionnaires via Google Form. The sample used in this study is a non-probability sample using purposive sampling technique. The number of samples in this study were 100 UMKM players who use conventional and sharia crowdfunding applications in Java with a proportion of 60:40 with the aim of seeing the level of preference for UMKM towards sharia and conventional crowdfunding. Based on the research results, it is concluded that UMKM prefer to finance through sharia crowdfunding. This is revealed from the weight value of very prefer more in sharia crowdfunding. There are 4 factors that determine the preferences of UMKM towards sharia and conventional crowdfunding financing, namely information, knowledge, trust, and service quality. Of the four factors, there are two most dominant factors that determine UMKM prefer to use sharia crowdfunding, namely: First, the knowledge factor with a score of 67.7%; Second, the service quality factor with a score of 67.1%. The dominance of these two factors is because MSME players have sufficient knowledge of Islamic values, business licenses, crowdfunding financing products, crowdfunding website features, and business performance. In addition, the quality of service provided by sharia crowdfunding admin operators is more responsive and communicative, and has a safe, secure, and reliable transaction process that is equipped with regulations and supervised by the Otoritas Jasa Keuangan (OJK).Keywords: Preference, Financial Technology (FINTECH), Sharia and Conventional Crowdfunding.Abstrak. UMKM sebagai salah satu sektor yang berperan penting dalam perekonomian, namun terdapat permasalahan yang dihadapi UMKM yaitu kurangnya permodalan. Seiring dengan perkembangan Financial Technology alternatif untuk memperoleh tambahan dana yaitu Crowdfunding. Namun, ada banyak UMKM yang belum mengetahui Crowdfunding baik yang bersifat konvensional maupun syariah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui tingkat preferensi UMKM dan faktor-faktor yang menentukannya terhadap pembiayaan crowdfunding syariah dan konvensional di Pulau Jawa. Penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif. Metode yang digunakan adalah survei lapangan dengan penyebaran kuesioner melalui Google Form. Sampel yang digunakan pada penelitian ini yaitu sampel non probabilitas dengan menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Jumlah sampel dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 100 pelaku UMKM yang menggunakan aplikasi Crowdfunding konvensional dan syariah di Pulau Jawa dengan proporsi 60:40 dengan tujuan agar terlihat tingkat preferensi UMKM terhadap crowdfunding syariah dan konvensional. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, diperoleh kesimpulan bahwa UMKM lebih memilih melakukan pembiayaan melalui crowdfunding syariah. Hal ini terungkap dari nilai bobot sangat prefer lebih banyak pada crowdfunding syariah. Terdapat 4 faktor yang menentukan preferensi UMKM terhadap pembiayaan crowdfunding syariah dan konvensional yaitu informasi, pengetahuan, kepercayaan, dan kualitas layanan. Dari keempat faktor tersebut terdapat dua faktor yang paling dominan yang  menentukan UMKM lebih memilih untuk menggunakan crowdfunding syariah yakni: Pertama, faktor pengetahuan dengan skor 67,7%; Kedua,  faktor kualitas layanan dengan skor 67,1%. Dominannya kedua faktor ini dikarenakan para pelaku UMKM memiliki kecukupan pengetahuan tentang nilai-nilai Islam, izin usaha, produk pembiayaan crowdfunding, fitur website crowdfunding, dan kinerja usaha. Selain itu kualitas layanan yang diberikan oleh operator admin crowdfunding syariah lebih responsif dan komunikatif, serta memiliki proses transaksi yang aman, terjamin, dan terpercaya yang dilengkapi dengan peraturan dan diawasi oleh Otoritas Jasa Keuangan (OJK).Kata Kunci: Preferensi, Financial Technology (FINTECH), Crowdfunding Syariah dan Konvensional.
