Abstract. Musculoskeletal disorders (MSDs) are the most common cause of long-term pain and physical disabilities that can affect people worldwide. Factors that can influence the emergence of MSDs complaints are working periods and work attitude. The purpose of this study was to determine the description of working periods, working attitudes, and complaints of musculoskeletal disorders (MSDs) in the educational staff of the Faculty of Medicine, Islamic University of Bandung in the academic year 2020/2021. This research is a descriptive study with a cross sectional approach. The subjects of this study were 22 educational staff at the Faculty of Medicine, Islamic University of Bandung, taken by total sampling and fulfilling the inclusion criteria. The tools used are in the form of tenure questionnaires, Rapid Entire Body Assessment (REBA) to assess work attitudes and the Nordic Body Map (NBM) to assess MSDs complaints. This research was conducted from November to December 2020. The results showed that the majority of respondents had almost the same working periode, the risk of working attitudes was low and medium (4 people and 18 people), the risk level of MSDs complaints was almost all (21 of 22) low risk. The most MSDs complaints were on the back, waist, and lower neck with the category of mild pain. The most MSDs complaint and is classified as pain is in the waist. An unnatural work attitude that is done repeatedly and for a long time will cause musculoskeletal complaints.Keywords: Musculoskeletal disorders (MSDs) complaints, working period, working attitudeAbstrak. Musculoskeletal disorders (MSDs) merupakan penyebab paling banyak nyeri jangka panjang serta cacat fisik yang dapat dialami banyak orang di seluruh dunia. Faktor yang dapat memengaruhi timbul keluhan MSDs adalah masa kerja dan sikap kerja. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengetahui gambaran masa kerja, sikap kerja, dan keluhan musculoskeletal disorders (MSDs) pada tenaga kependidikan Fakultas Kedokteran Universitas Islam Bandung tahun akademik 2020/2021. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif dengan pendekatan cross sectional. Subjek penelitian ini adalah 22 orang tenaga kependidikan Fakultas Kedokteran Universitas Islam Bandung yang diambil dengan total sampling dan memenuhi kriteria inklusi. Tools yang digunakan berupa kuesioner masa kerja, Rapid Entire Body Assessment (REBA) untuk menilai sikap kerja dan Nordic Body Map (NBM) untuk menilai keluhan MSDs. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada bulan November hingga Desember 2020. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa mayoritas responden memiliki masa kerja hampir sama, risiko sikap kerja rendah dan sedang (4 orang dan 18 orang), tingkat risiko keluhan MSDs hampir semua (21 dari 22) risiko rendah. Keluhan MSDs terbanyak adalah pada bagian punggung, pinggang, dan leher bawah dengan kategori agak sakit. Keluhan MSDs yang terbanyak dan tergolong nyeri adalah pada bagian pinggang. Sikap kerja tidak alamiah yang dilakukan berulang dan dalam jangka waktu yang lama akan menimbulkan keluhan muskuloskeletal.Kata kunci: Keluhan musculoskeletal disorders (MSDs), masa kerja, sikap kerja |
