Abstract. Occupational skin disease was at second rank (30.26%) after respiratory disorders in the first rank (31.40%). This study aims to explore and analyze the relationship between the use of chemicals with the incidence of irritant contact dermatitis and respiratory problems among workers in the leather tanning industry. The type of research used is a scoping review, the sample consisted of 10 articles from Springerlink with the keywords Chemical Use In Leather Industry AND Dermatitis, Chemical Use In Leather Industry AND Respiratory Disease. In Pubmed ("Chromium" [Mesh] AND "Dermatitis, Contact" [Mesh]. On Google Scholar, Contact Dermatitis AND Skin Tanning, Respiratory Disorders and Skin Tanning. The PECOS for this study is Population of workers in the leather tanning industry, Exposure to chemical substances, Comparation workers who did not exposed the chemical substances, Outcome of Irritant Contact Dermatitis and Respiratory Disorders in workers in the Leather Tanning Industry, Study of Cross sectional, retrospective, analytic observational. Journals was found 3398 journals. The results were 8 journals of Irritant Contact Dermatitis and 2 Respiratory Disorders journals which stated that there was a relationship between the use of chemicals and the incidence of Irritant Contact Dermatitis and Respiratory Disorders in workers in the tannery industry which were influenced by the type of chemical substance as a whole is chrome, exposure time >8 hours/day.Keywords: Chromium, Occupational Skin Disease, Respiratory Disease, TanneryAbstrak. Penyakit kulit akibat kerja menempati urutan kedua (30,26%) setelah gangguan pernafasan pada urutan pertama (31,40%). Industri penyamakan kulit pada prinsipnya memasukan zat kimia yang memiliki efek samping nyeri dada bila terhirup dan iritasi bila terkena kulit. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi dan menganalisis secara sistematis penelitian tentang hubungan antara penggunaan zat kimia dengan kejadian dermatitis kontak iritan dan gangguan pernafasan pada pekerja di industri penyamakan kulit. Hasilnya sebanyak 8 jurnal Dermatitis Kontak Iritan dan 2 jurnal Gangguan Pernafasan menyatakan ada hubungan antara penggunaan zat kimia dengan kejadian Dermatitis Kontak Iritan dan Gangguan Pernafasan pada pekerja di Industri Penyamakan kulit dengan dipengaruhi Jenis zat kimia keseluruhannya adalah krom, Waktu paparan >8 jam/hari.Kata Kunci: Dermatitis Kontak Iritan, Gangguan Pernafasan, Industri Penyamakan Kulit, Krom.
