Abstact. Perception is a person's response to what is seen or felt so that it will affect thought patterns. If a person's perception of an object is good, there will be a sense of pleasure and interest in that object. Likewise, in the learning process, if it is in accordance with their abilities and expectations, students will feel content and give a good perception of it. The learning process comprises of learning materials, lecturers as teachers, methods, and learning objectives. Final result is stated by the GPA (Grade Point Average). This study aims to determine the relationship between student perceptions of the learning process and the achievement of students' GPA in the Medical Faculty of Unisba. The research design used an analytic observational method with a cross-sectional approach while the data collection was conducted with a questionnaire. The study population was all students for the years 2017, 2018, and 2019 with a total sample of 158 respondents consisting of 55 of 2017 students (34.8%), 74 of 2018 students (46.8%), and 29 of 2019 students (18.4%). The results taken from most of the students' perceptions of the learning process in the Medical Faculty of Unisba showed as follows: 125 students (79.1%) stated that it was sufficient and 119 students (75.3%) were in the very satisfying GPA category (75.3%). Bivariate analysis with chi-square showed that there was no relationship between student perceptions of the learning process and the Grade Point Average p= 1,761 (p> 0.05).Keywords: student perceptions, medical student, learning process, Grade Point AverageAbstrak. Persepsi merupakan suatu tanggapan seseorang tentang apa yang dilihat atau dirasakan sehingga akan mempengaruhi pola pikir. Jika persepsi seseorang terhadap suatu objek baik maka akan timbul rasa senang dan tertarik terhadap objek tersebut. Begitupun dalam proses pembelajaran, jika dalam pelaksanaannya sesuai dengan kemampuan dan harapan mahasiswa akan merasa senang dan memberikan persepsi yang baik terhadap proses pembelajaran. Proses pembelajaran tersusun atas materi belajar, dosen sebagai pengajar, metode, dan tujuan pembelajaran. Hasil akhir pembelajaran dinyatakan dengan Indeks Prestasi Kumulatif. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan persepsi mahasiswa terhadap proses pembelajaran dengan pencapaian IPK mahasiswa di FK Unisba. Desain penelitian menggunakan metode observasional analitik, bersifat kuantitatif, dengan pendekatan cross-sectional. Pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner Student Evaluation of Learning Experience & Examination Questionnaire (SELEQ) yang dibuat oleh Mia Kusmiati, dr., M.Pd.Ked. Populasi penelitian adalah seluruh mahasiswa 2017, 2018, 2019 dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 158 responden terdiri dari 55 orang mahasiswa 2017 (34,8%), 74 orang mahasiswa 2018 (46,8%), dan 29 orang mahasiswa 2019 (18,4%). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sebagian besar persepsi mahasiswa terhadap proses pembelajaran di FK Unisba 125 mahasiwa (79,1%) menyatakan cukup dan 119 mahasiswa (75,3%) berada pada kategori IPK sangat memuaskan (75,3%). Analisis bivariat dengan Chi square menunjukan tidak ada hubungan antara persepsi mahasiswa terhadap proses pembelajaran dengan Indeks Prestasi Kumulatif p = 1,761 (p>0,05).Kata kunci: persepsi mahasiswa, mahasiswa kedokteran, proses belajar, Indeks Prestasi Kumulatif |
