dc.description.abstract |
The research content of methane gas Resource Center conducted a Mineral coal and geothermal (PSDMBP) are located in seven different areas. The Barito basin and are located in the basin and South Sumatra. Research conducted is drilling exploration which resulted in a form of core samples. Drilling conducted range between 200 – 500 m below ground level. Start a non conventional energy utilization of the number one Coal Bed Methane as alternative energy impact to more exploration drilling for Coal Bed Methane. To know the influence of methane gas deposits of one way data correlation characteristics of coal and methane gas deposits against depth. The analysis conducted for megetahui coal characteristics that may affect the content of methane gas based on the depth of the analysis of the test i.e. petrographic, chemical analysis, content analysis, analysis of gas heat value and depth of coal. From the results of the analysis that has been done the coal characteristics are obtained. Of the seven locations of the analysis results the average Rv below 0.6%, maseral composition content of above 80% and mineral matter is dominated by clays with a percentage of the average under 5%. The results of the chemical analysis is dominated by deposits of FC and VM ranged from 30 to 50%. The results of the analysis of the content of the gas, methane gas is a gas with content of most compared to other gases. The results of the analysis of a heat value ranges from 4000 – 7000 cal/gr shows coal-sub higher and higher. |
