dc.description.abstract CV Taufik Jaya Teknik is a metal manufacturer which produces various components of automotive engine, textile machinery, mechatronic machinery, canned food manufacturing machines, punch and dies, as well as machine design. Currently the company is scheduling based on the EDD priority rules. Jobs that have the same processing batch size as the transfer batch. This condition causes waiting times so that in the end there will be production delays. Based on this, the proposed scheduling will be carried out using a non-delay algorithm by considering the batch transfer size. The non-delay algorithm was chosen because this algorithm can increase machine utility so that more work is processed. Thus, the delay in the end can be reduced. The measure of delay used in this study is mean tardiness. Based on the proposed scheduling, the result is that there is a decrease in the mean tardiness of 53.52%. This means that the overall delays can be reduced by scheduling proposals. en_US
