dc.description Control diagram is a tool of Statistical Process Control (SPC) used to detect ‘in control’ or ‘out of control’ process. Practically, SPC can be done in two phases; phase I (start up) and phase II (establish). Control diagram of Shewhart is generally more suitable in the application of phase I because it is better to detect big changes. However, its control limits must be examined. This study describes control diagram of Shewhart varians S2 Fase I based on False Alarm Probability (FAP) and Attained False Alarm Rate (AFAR) to monitor process dispersion with assumption that the process is in normal distribution by unknown mean and varians. The obtained control diagram will be applied on process dispersion control for airplane components.
dc.description Diagram kendali merupakan salah satu alat dari Statistical Process Control (SPC) yang digunakan untuk untuk mendeteksi apakah proses dalam keadaan terkendali (in control) atau tidak terkendali (out of control). Dalam praktik, SPC dilaksanakan dalam dua fase, yakni Fase I (start up) dan Fase II (establish) . Diagram kendali Shewhart umumnya lebih cocok dalam aplikasi fase I karena lebih baik dalam mendeteksi perubahan besar. Namun batas-batas kendalinya masih harus dikaji. Dalam makalah ini, akan dibahas tentang diagram kendali Shewhart varians S2 Fase I berbasis False Alarm Probability (FAP) dan Attained False Alarm Rate (AFAR) untuk memonitor sebaran proses dengan asumsi bahwa proses berdistribusi normal dengan mean dan varians tidak diketahui. Diagram kendali yang diperoleh akan diaplikasikan pada pengontrolan dispersi proses untuk komponen pesawat terbang.
