Abstract.One of utilization media internet for the community needs is a Traffic Management Centre (TMC) Polrestabes Bandung, which is expected to be a media information service for the community, especially regarding traffic information in Bandung. This study aims to determine the extent to which the effectiveness of media information in the TMC Polrestabes Bandung traffic information to meet the needs of the people in the city of Bandung. The method used descriptive with quantitative data, through questionnaires and interviews to 100 followers tmc_restabesbdg account determined through simple random sampling technique. Based on the results of data processing, media Polrestabes Bandung TMC has provided traffic information to the public effectively. Nevertheless, the need for a variety of efforts to improve this service to be more leverage in carrying out its functions. Keywords: Effectiveness Media Information, Online Media, Traffic Management Centre (TMC) Polrestabes Bandung. Abstrak.Salah satu bentuk pemanfaatan media informasi internet (online) untuk kebutuhan masyarakat adalah Traffic Management Centre (TMC) Polrestabes Kota Bandung, yang diharapkan dapat menjadi media layanan informasi bagi masyarakat khususnya mengenai informasi lalu lintas di Kota Bandung.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui sejauh mana efektivitas media informasi TMC Polrestabes Bandung dalam memenuhi kebutuhan informasi lalu lintas masyarakat di Kota Bandung. Metode yang digunakan adalah deskriptif dengan data kuantitatif, melalui penyebaran angket dan wawancara kepada 100 orang follower akun @tmc_restabesbdgyang ditentukan melalui teknik simple random sampling. Berdasarkan hasil pengolahan data, media TMC Polrestabes Bandung telah memberikan informasi lalu lintas kepada masyarakat dengan efektif. Meskipun demikian, diperlukan adanya berbagai upaya perbaikan agar layanan ini dapat lebih maksimal dalam menjalankan fungsinya.
