Public relations plays an important role in relationships with stakeholders and help organization/companies to achieve its goals either it internal as well as external relationships. So in the end will form the communication patterns of public relation in every activity. PT Pos Indonesia’s public relations also establish communication with press. This research used a qualitative method with qualitative descriptive approach. Data collection techniques used are in-depth interviews, field observations, and documents. As for the focus problem of the research is how PT Pos Indonesia’s public relations estabish communication with the press. Results of this research is the pattern of public communications made by PT Pos Indonesia relations during this time was informal and formal communication, which is supporting good relations with the press and support the companies main goal in the approach back to the community through the media and company brands.

Sehingga pada akhirnya akan terbentuk pola komunikasi public relations dalam setiap kegiatan. Public relations PT Pos Indonesia juga melakukan komunikasi dalam menjalin hubungan kerja khususnya dengan pers. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif-kualitatif.Teknik pengumpulan data yang di gunakan adalah wawancara mendalam, observasi lapangan, dan dokumen.Adapun perumusan masalah yang menjadi fokus penelitian adalah bagaimana pola komunikasi public relations PT Pos Indonesia dalam menjalin hubungan dengan pers. Hasil penelitian ini adalah pola komunikasi yang dilakukan oleh public relations PT Pos Indonesia yang selama ini dijalankan ialah pola komunikasi informal dan formal, dimana komunikasi yang dilakukan ini mendukung hubungan baik dengan pers dan mendukung tujuan utama perusahaan dalam melakukan pendekatan kembali kepada masyarakat melalui media dan mengembalikan citra perusahaan.
