Consuming hashish is consiered as natural thing nowadays for certain group of people. In spite of the fact that there is a great danger of consuming the hashish. Based on the observation, there are many people consuming hashish. Based on the first data from 15 hashish consumers members of the community that they actually know the danger of it. however, they feel the obtain more benefit than loss or negative effect. According to Rosenstock (1966) that the possiblity of someone doing something that endanger their health is because they believe about their health, and it is called health belief that lead the performers to do something that make them healthy. The objective of this study is to obtain empirical data and describe about health belief on hashish consumers in X community. The instrument used is a questionnaire arranged based on Rosenstock’s theory (1975). With the help of SPSS 16.0, the data are processed. The results show that nearly all members of X community have low health belief about 89%, there are cues to action component, perceived susceptibility component. The both components are very related to the belief about some characteristics that encourage individual to live healthy life. The low of X community members’ health belief make them maintaining their behaviour of consuming hashish. |

perilaku mengkonsumsi ganja saat ini sudah dianggap sebagai suatu hal yang wajar untuk kalangan tertentu, padahal bahaya yang ditimbulkan sangatlah besar. berdasarkan hasil observasi, terlihat banyak yang mengkonsumsi ganja. berdasarkan data awal pada 15 anggota komunitas yang menkonsumsi ganja diperoleh bahwa seluruh anggota tersebut mengetahui bahaya ganja, namun mereka belum merasakan dampak negatif dan sudah banyak mendapatkan keuntungan dari mengkonsumsi ganja. Menurut Rosenstock ( 1966). kmeungkinan seseorang melakukan tindakan kesehatan dikarenakan adanya keyakinan akan kesehatannya uang disebut health belief akan mengarahkan perilakunya menuju perilaku yang akan membuatnya sehat. tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui dan dapat data empiris serta melakukan pemaparan secara deskriptif mengenai Health belief pada pengkonsumsi ganja di komunitas X yang digunakan adalah Health belief yang disusun berdasarkan teori Rosenstock (1966) yang sudah disempurnakan oleh Becker dan Mainman (1975). pengolahan data menggunakan bantuan SPSS 16.0 for Window. berdasarkan hasil pengolahan data, secara keseluruhan anggota komunitas X yang memiliki health belief yang rendah sebanyak 89%. komponen health belief yang rendah yaoti komponen cues to action dan komponen perceived susceptibility. dua komponen tersebut sangat berkaitan dengan keyakinan mengenai tanda-tanda yang mendorong seseorang untuk melalui berprilaku gaya hidup sehat dan keyakinan bahwa tubuhnya daam kondisi mudah terkena penyakit. rendahnya helath belief perilaku mengkonsumsi ganja pada anggota komunitas X dapat menjadikan mereka tetap menpertahankan perilaku mengkonsumsi ganjanya. |
