Abstract. College students are a group of people who are currently studying in college. To complete lectures, students are required to make a final project. To complete the final project, of course students face difficulties, but they can overcome these difficulties with the expectations they have. According to Snyder (2000) defines expectations as the overall ability possessed by individuals to produce paths (ways) that can help to achieve the goals set, as well as the motivation they have to use paths (ways) that have been produced to achieve goals. To measure the hope variable the researcher makes his own research measuring instrument by referring to the hope aspect proposed by Snyder (2000). The analysis technique used is a descriptive statistical analysis technique to illustrate how hope is owned by students of the 2015 Pharmacy Study Program Unisba. The results obtained illustrate that the hope possessed by the 2015 batch of pharmacy students at the UNISBA is in the high category. This is what makes them still able to maximize their abilities and get good achievements during lectures.Keywords: Hope, College StudentAbstrak. Mahasiswa merupakan sekelompok orang yang saat ini sedang menempuh pendidikan di perguruan tinggi. Untuk menyelesaikan perkuliahan, mahasiswa diwajibkan untuk membuat tugas akhir. Untuk menyelesaikan tugas akhir tentu saja mahasiswa menghadapi kesulitan, nemun kesulitan itu bisa mereka atasi dengan harapan yang mereka miliki. Menurut Snyder (2000) mengartikan harapan sebagai keseluruhan kemampuan yang dimiliki oleh individu untuk menghasilkan jalur (cara) yang dapat membantu untuk mencapai tujuan yang telah ditetapkan, serta motivasi yang dimiliki untuk menggunakan jalur (cara) yang telah dihasilkan untuk mencapai tujuan. Untuk mengukur variabel hope peneliti membuat sendiri alat ukur penelitian dengan mengacu pada aspek hope yang dikemukakan oleh Snyder (2000). Teknik analisis yang digunakan ialah teknik analisis statistik deskriptif untuk menggambaikan bagaimana hope yang dimiliki oleh mahasiswa angkatan 2015 program studi farmasi unisba. Hasil yang didapatkan menggambarkan bahwa hope yang dimiliki oleh mahasiswa angkatan 2015 program studi farmasi unisba berada pada kategori tinggi. Hal tersebutlah yang membuat mereka tetap bisa memaksimalkan kemampuan dan mendapatkan prestasi yang bagus selama perkuliahan.Kata Kunci: Hope, Mahasiswa |
