Abstract. PT. Kimia Farma Bandung is a pharmaceutical company that produces medicinal drugs. At present, PT. Kimia Farma Bandung is facing massive changes, namely the transfer of factories. Although organizational changes occur on a large scale, employees continue to accept these changes. Employees feel this is a form of their dedication to the company so they want to work hard to achieve organizational goals. The purpose of this study is to find out how close the relationship is between organizational commitment and readiness for change among the production staff of PT. Kimia Farma Bandung. This study is a correlational study with a population of 87 people. The measuring instrument used is the Organizational Commitment Questionnaire constructed by Mowday, Porter, and Steers to measure the variable organizational commitment (1982) and the Readiness for Change Scale constructed by Holt, et al. (2007) to measure the readiness for change variable. This study uses the Rank Spearman analysis technique and obtained r = 0.750 with p = 0,000. Meaning that there is a strong relationship between organizational commitment and readiness for change. This means that the higher the organizational commitment, the higher the readiness for change among the production employees of PT. Kimia Farma Bandung will be.Keywords: Organizational Commitment, Readiness for Change, PT. Kimia Farma.Abstrak. PT. Kimia Farma Bandung merupakan perusahaan industri farmasi yang memproduksi obat-obatan. Saat ini, PT. Kimia Farma Bandung sedang menghadapi perubahan yang besar-besaran yaitu perpindahan pabrik. Walaupun perubahan organisasi yang terjadi dalam skala besar, namun karyawan tetap menerima perubahan tersebut. Karyawan merasa hal ini sebagai bentuk pengabdian mereka terhadap perusahaan sehingga mereka mau bekerja keras untuk mencapai tujuan organisasi. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui seberapa erat hubungan antara komitmen organisasi dengan readiness for change pada karyawan bagian produksi PT. Kimia Farma Bandung. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian korelasional dengan jumlah populasi sebanyak 87 orang. Alat ukur yang digunakan adalah Organizational Commitment Questionnaire yang dikontruksi oleh Mowday, Porter, dan Steers untuk mengukur variabel komitmen organisasi (1982) serta Readiness for Change Scale yang dikontruksi oleh Holt, dkk (2007) untuk mengukur variabel readiness for change. Penelitian ini menggunakan teknik analisis Rank Spearman dan diperoleh r = 0,750 dengan p = 0,000, artinya terdapat hubungan yang kuat antara komitmen organisasi dengan readiness for change. Hal ini berarti semakin tinggi komitmen organisasi maka semakin tinggi readiness for change pada karyawan produksi PT. Kimia Farma Bandung.Kata Kunci: Komitmen Organisasi, Readiness for Change, PT.
