dc.description Abstract. Coal has various varied qualities such as coal that has high rank coal quality, medium rank coal and low rank coal so that to meet market brand needs coal mixing is needed, coal mixing needs to be done so that the coal quality demanded by the buyer can be optimally fulfilled, coal mixing activities can help in marketing coal that has low rank coal quality. The research method is carried out by doing proximate analysis and analysis of calorific value, so that the correlation value, standard deviation value and regression equation obtained are used to find proportions that match the market brand , it can be concluded that the results of mixing coal using trial and error and Regression equations. It can be concluded that the results of mixing coal using trial and error and Regression equations with size - 8 mm + 4 mm proportion of medium coal rank 87.1% and low rank coal 12.81%, size -11.2 mm + 8 mm coal rank medium 87 , 2% and coal low rank 12.79%, size -12.5 mm + 11.2 mm with the proportion of medium coal rank 88.46% and coal low rank 11.54%, the effect of the size of coal samples on coal mixing will get different results in the size of -8 mm + 4 mm obtained a heating value of 5140 cal / gram, while the size of -11.2 mm + 8mm with the same proportion obtained 5116 cal / gram and with a size of -12.5 mm + 11.2 mm obtained 5019 cal / gram.Keywords : Coal blending, trial and error,  regression equation, inherent moisture, ash content, volatile matter,  fixed carbon, calorivic value. Abstrak. Batubara memiliki berbagai kualitas yang bervariasi seperti batubara yang memiliki kualitas high rank coal, medium rank coal dan low rank coal sehingga untuk memenuhi kebutuhan market brand perlu dilakukannya pencampuran batubara, pencampuran batubara perlu dilakukan agar kualitas batubara yang diminta oleh pihak pembeli dapat terpenuhi secara optimal, kegiatan pencampuran batubara dapat membantu di dalam memasarkan batubara yang memiliki kualitas low rank coal.Metode penelitian dilakukan dengan melakukan analisis proksimat dan analisis nilai kalor, sehingga mendapatkan nilai korelasi, nilai standar deviasi dan persamaan regresi yang didapat digunakan untuk mencari proporsi yang sesuai dengan market brand, dapat disimpulkan hasil pencampuran batubara menggunakan trial and error dan persamaan Regresi. Dapat disimpulkan hasil pencampuran batubara menggunakan trial and error dan persamaan Regresi dengan ukuran - 8 mm +4 mm proporsi medium rank coal 87,1% dan low rank coal 12,81%, ukuran -11,2 mm + 8 mm Medium rank coal  87,2 % dan low rank coal 12,79 %, ukuran -12,5 mm+11,2 mm dengan Proporsi medium rank coal  88,46 % dan low rank coal 11,54 %, pengaruh ukuran sampel batubara terhadap pencampuran batubara akan mendapatkan hasil yang berbeda pada ukuran -8 mm+ 4 mm  didapatkan nilai kalor 5140 cal/gram, sedangkan dengan ukuran -11,2 mm + 8mm dengan proporsi yang sama didapatkan 5116 cal/gram dan dengan ukuran -12,5 mm + 11,2 mm didapatkan 5019 cal/gram.Kata Kunci : Pecampuran batubara, Trial and error,  persamaan regresi, air lembab, kadar abu, zat terbang,  karbon padat, nilai kalori.
