Abstract.This study focused on home industry company named VERISSA which is engaged in garment production of gamis located on St. Peta in Kopo. This company is using make to stock strategy in producting their product. The process of production consist of measuring, patterning, sewing, steaming, finishing and packing.Steaming process has the most complaint about ache after workers finnish their work than other processes. Steaming process force workers to work by standing on their feet, bending their body with the neck leaned on ward. Method used in this study are Nordic Body Map and WERA. Nordic Body Map aim to determine which part of the body of workers felt the ache after the work. WERA method is a method useful for assessing risk factors happened in Steaming Process.The result of Nordic Body Map indicate that the workers is experienced ache on their neck as well as their back and numb on their feet. On the other hand, WERA Method workplace risk identification result final score is 28-32 which indicates the risk of getting injury for workers and further action is needed to minimalize the risk. Improvements are made by designing a new ergonomic workbench which has a different size.Keywords: Nordic Body Maps,Workplace Ergonomic Risk Assesment (WERA), AntropometriAbstrak.Perusahaan tempat dilakukannya penelitian ini adalah di home industry yang bergerak di bidang garmen memproduksi baju gamis yang bernama VERISSA. Home industry ini berlokasi di Jl Peta, Kopo.Sifat produksi dari home industry ini adalah make to stock. Proses produksi dalam membuat baju gamis ini terdiri dari proses pengukuran, pola, jahit, setrika/steam dan yang terakhir finishing / packing. Operator pada stasiun kerja steam /setrika didapatkan paling banyak keluhan rasa sakit yang dirasakan setelah bekerja dibandingkan dengan operator pada stasiun kerja lainnya. Pada stasiun kerja ini operator bekerja dengan posisi tubuh berdiri, membungkuk, leher yang selalu condong kedepan. Metode yang digunakan adalah Nordic Body Map dan WERA. Nordic Body Map bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagian tubuh pada pekerja yang dirasa sakit setelah melakukan pekerjaannya. Metode WERA berguna untuk menilai faktor-faktor resiko yang terjadi pada saat melakukan pekerjaanya.Hasil dari Nordic Body Map, menunjukkan kedua operator mengalami keluhan pegal pada bagian leher, punggung dan kaki. Hasil identifikasi resiko kerja dengan menggunakan metode WERA menunjukkan final score 28-32, ini menunjukan bahwa pekerjaan yang dilakukan beresiko terjadinya cedera pada operator sehingga perlu dilakukannya tindakan lebih lanjut guna meminimasi besarnya resiko kerja. Perbaikan yang dilakukan guna meminimasi resiko tersebut yaitu dengan merancang ulang meja kerja yang ergonomis.Kata Kunci : Nordic Body Maps,Workplace Ergonomic Risk Assesment (WERA), Antropometri |
