Abstract. PD. Tenun ATBM Faishal Ridwan is a company which focused in textile industry field. This company make fabric cotton and silk songket hereinafter and will be distributed to boutiques or collectors . Condition of the company now have obstacles on the production's floor that still unmanaged between department work that caused occurrence bottleneck in some station work . It is have implications on no ability of the company in fulfill the request of consumers which increased every year . Therefore, company tried to increase production of targets up to 50% with evaluate the system location of facilities that exist today. The method which used for fix system location of facilities which is the method Line balancing and FLAP algorithm ( Facility Layout Applet Aplication ) . Line balancing method is used to minimize the bottleneck machine so, the production capacity can be increased, while the algorithm FLAP used to minimize the moving moment of material and produce the minimum ongkos material handling (OMH). The Input processing of algorithm which are the number of department and the large floor overall . Because of that, the researcher recommend layout suggestion and a good flow of process production based on the result of finishing of line balancing method . With the recommended layout, the company could be efficiency in distance displacement goods of 51 , 50 m ( from 142.70 m to be 91.20 m).Keywords: Design, Layout, Line Balancing, FLAPAbstrak. PD. Tenun ATBM Faishal Ridwan adalah sebuah perusahaan yang bergerak dibidang industri textile. PD. Tenun ATBM Faishal Ridwan merupakan perusahaan yang membuat kain songket katun dan sutera yang selanjutnya akan di distribusikan ke boutique- boutique atau pengepul. Perusahaan ini memiliki kendala pada lantai produksi yang masih tidak beraturan antar departemen kerja yang mengakibatkan terjadinya bottleneck di beberapa stasiun kerja. Hal ini juga berimplikasi pada ketidak mampuan perusahaan dalam memenuhi permintaan konsumen yang meningkat setiap tahunnya. Maka dari itu perusahaan berupaya meningkatkan target produksi hingga 50% dengan mengevaluasi tata letak fasilitas yang ada saat ini. Metode yang digunakan untuk memperbaiki tata letak fasilitas yaitu menggunakan metode Line balancing dan algoritma FLAP (Facility Layout Applet/Aplication). Metode line balancing digunakan untuk meminimasi mesin yang mengalami bottleneck sehingga kapasitas produksi dapat meningkat, sedangkan algoritma FLAP digunakan untuk meminimasi momen perpindahan material dan menghasilkan ongkos material handling (OMH) yang minimum. Input pengerjaan algoritma yaitu banyaknya departemen dan luas lantai keseluruhan Temuan dari penelitian ini adalah bentuk layout awal perusahaan dan aliran produksi yang tidak terorganisir dengan baik. Oleh karena itu penulis merekomendasikan layout usulan dan aliran proses produksi yang baik sesuai hasil dari penyelesaian metode line balancing. Dengan layout yang direkomendasikan, perusahaan dapat melakukan efisiensi jarak perpindahan barang sebesar 51,50 m (dari 142,70 m menjadi 91,20 m).Kata Kunci: Perancangan, Layout, Line Balancing, FLAP |
