dc.description Abstract. The research is titled "Political Campaign Strategy in Our Brand Crisis Film" "(Qualitative Studies Semiotics Analysis Roland Barthes about the meaning of denotative and connotative meaning The political campaign strategy in our brand film is a crisis)". Our Brand is Crisis is a drama how political campaign strategy used by Jane Bodine and the team to win her client in this case Bolivia's presidential candidate in Bolivia's presidential election Pedro Castillo. The purpose of this study is to find out the political campaign strategy that exists in the movie our brand is crisis, a drama film. The object of his research is focused on scenes that signify a political campaign strategy. There search method used is qualitative research method, with surgery using semotika analysis with sign significance model from Roland Barthes, which according to Barthes through the process of significance to a sign, it will be able to bring a meaning and meaning can be the meaning of denotation, connotation, and myth. Data collection techniques used in this study are interviews, observations, and literature on political campaign strategy in this film. The resulting conclusion there are six scenes that represent the meaning of political campaign strategy. Where Jane's character as a political consultant always planned a political campaign strategy that he did to win his client Pedro Castillo. There is a possibility of differences in perception between filmmakers and their audiences. This is what under lies this research, at least the reader can be more objective in interpreting a meaning in the purpose of making the film.Keywords: Strategy, SemioticAnalysis, Our Brand Is CrisisAbstrak. Penelitian ini berjudul “Strategi Kampanye Politik dalam Film Our Brand is Crisis” “(Studi Kualitatif Analisis Semiotika Roland Barthes mengenai makna denotative dan makna konotatif strategi kampanye politik dalam film our brand is crisis)”. Our Brand is Crisis merupakan film drama yang bagaimana strategi kampanye politik yang digunakan Jane Bodine dan tim untuk memenangkan kliennya dalam hal ini calon presiden Bolivia dalam pemilu calon presiden Bolivia yaitu Pedro Castillo. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui strategi kampanye politik yang ada dalam film Our Brand is Crisis, sebuah film yang beraliran drama. Objek penelitiannya difokuskan pada adegan-adegan yang menandakan strategi kampanye politik. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode penelitian kualitatif, dengan pembedahan menggunakan analisis semotika dengan model signifikansi tanda dari Roland Barthes, yang mana menurut Barthes melalui proses signifikansi terhadap suatu tanda, maka akan dapat memunculkan suatu makna dan makna tersebut dapat berupa makna denotasi, konotasi, dan mitos. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah wawancara, observasi, dan kepustakaan mengenai strategi kampanye politik pada film ini. Kesimpulan yang dihasilkan terdapat enam adegan yang merepresentasikan makna strategi kampanye politik. Dimana tokoh Jane sebagai seorang konsultan politik selalu merencanakan strategi kampanye politik yang dilakukannya demi memenangkan kliennya yaitu Pedro Castillo. Tidak tertutup kemungkinan adanya perbedaan persepsi antara pembuat film dengan khalayaknya. Hal inilah yang mendasari penelitian ini, minimal pembaca bias lebih objektif dalam mengintepretasikan sebuah makna dalam tujuan pembuatan film.Kata Kunci: Strategi, Analisis Semiotika, Our Brand Is Crisis
