Abstract. The film is a mass communication using channels (media) in connecting communicators and komunikan, as well as certain effects may give rise to superstar. The film also can reveal the meaning through signs. The film "the grave news of blur" is a film about a journalist in the face of various threats and violence, also raised about the weak rule of law on the hardness of the journalist. With carrying the theme the representation of violence, this film turns out saving problem cases of violence experienced by the journalists. The purpose of this research is to know the struggles of journalists in the documentary "the grave news of blur". This research method using semiotics, a science that examines about signs. The theory used is the television codes John Fiske. In this study, researchers examined three levels i.e. level of reality, the level of representation and ideology level. The results of this study concluded that the struggle of the journalists from the cases of violence in the movie Tomb Blurred News shown through levels of reality, the level of representation, and the ideological level. Portrayed with expression, environment, appearance and dialogue that exists in the scene. The film shows the struggle for journalists to obtain his freedom in charge. It is that freedom of the press in Indonesia is still weak.Keywords: Film, Grave news of blur, Semiotics, codes Television John Fiske, Journalist Abstrak. Film merupakan komunikasi massa yang menggunakan saluran (media) dalam menghubungkan komunikator dan komunikan , serta dapat menimbulkan efek tertentu bagi layaknya. Film juga dapat mengungkapkan makna melalui tanda-tanda. Film “Kubur Kabar Kabur” merupakan sebuah film tentang seorang wartawan dalam menghadapi berbagai ancaman dan kekerasan, juga mengangkat tentang lemahnya supremasi hukum pada kekerasan jurnalis. Dengan mengusung tema representasi kekerasan, film ini ternyata menyimpan permasalahan kasus kekerasan yang dialami oleh wartawan. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui perjuangan jurnalis dalam film dokumenter “Kubur Kabar Kabur”. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode semiotika, yaitu suatu ilmu yang mengkaji tentang tanda-tanda. Teori yang digunakan adalah kode-kode televisi John Fiske. Dalam penelitian ini, peneliti meneliti tiga level yaitu level realitas, level representasi dan level ideologi. Hasil penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa perjuangan jurnalis dari kasus kekerasan dalam film Kubur Kabar Kabur ditunjukkan melalui level realitas, level representasi, dan level ideologi. Digambarkan dengan ekspresi, lingkungan, penampilan dan dialog yang ada dalam adegan. Film ini memperlihatkan perjuangan jurnalis untuk mendapatkan hak kebebasannya dalam bertugas.
