Abstract at the present time the community cannot be separated by the presence of the mass media .This is caused by people needs for information , who was one of an important factor in were continuing his life .The emergence of this phenomenon , give rise to a shift in the way that is between the public and media before .Right now the inclined to the having an active role , because the community would choose which media which allow them to be consumed .It is also means that the media no longer determine the stance of the people .Magazine as part of the mass media , have an important role in the context of fulfilling significant community needs .The presence of train magazine trying to answer the community needs who loves and payed a lot more attention to the world of train .This study aims to to know what part train magazine the fulfillment of a need information train lover community daop 2 bandung .The methodology that was used is the method quantitative descriptive.Keyword: Needs, Information, Magazine, Descriptive, Community, PT KAI . Abstrak penelitian ini adalah Pada saat ini masyarakat tidak dapat dipisahkan oleh kehadiran media massa. Hal ini disebabkan oleh kebutuhan masyarakat akan informasi, yang merupakan salah satu faktor penting dalam melangsungkan hidupnya. Munculnya fenomena ini, menimbulkan pergeseran cara yang ada antara masyarakat dan media sebelumnya. Sekarang masyarakat cenderung yang memiliki peran aktif, karena masyarakat akan memilih media mana yang memungkinkan mereka untuk dikonsumsi. Hal ini juga berarti media tidak lagi menentukan sikap masyarakat. Majalah sebagai bagian dari media massa, memiliki peran yang cukup berarti dalam rangka pemenuhan kebutuhan masyarakat tersebut. Kehadiran Majalah Kereta Api mencoba menjawab kebutuhan komunitas yang mencintai dan menaruh perhatian lebih pada dunia perkeretaapian. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peran majalah kereta api dalam pemenuhan kebutuhan informasi komunitas pecinta kereta api daop 2 bandung. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif kuantitatif. Teknik pengumpulan datanya melalui kuisioner, kepustakaan dan wawancara, lalu hasilnya dianalisis dengan menggunakan teknik analisis deskriptif. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, secara keseluruhan dalam penelitian ini adalah para responden menanggapi kebutuhannya akan informasi perkeretaapian telah terpenuhi oleh Majalah Kereta Api.Kata Kunci: Kebutuhan, Informasi, Majalah, Deskriptif, Komunitas, PT KAI. |
