Abstract. The All Indonesian Baseball and Softball Association (Perbasasi) is an organization that is in charge of managing baseball and softball sports. If the parent company is the parent of Perbasasi in various provinces in Indonesia as well as the umpire division that is in the parent Perbasasi organization which is the parent of the umpire division in various provinces in Indonesia. Anyone can become umpire. Both men and women. Starting from students, teachers, entrepreneurs, laborers, doctors and other professions can become umpire. With the condition that they have participated in the minimal upgrading of regional level training. This can be illustrated by the front stage of an umpire when he was on duty and back stage of an umpire when he was not being umpire. Using a qualitative case study approach methodology, researchers will reveal how the front stage of an umpire when on duty and back stage of an umpire when on duty.Keywords: Umpire, Front Stage, Back stage, Self Presentation.Abstrak. Persatuan Baseball dan Softball Seluruh Indonesia (Perbasasi) merupakan organisasi yang bertugas mengelola cabang olahraga bisbol dan sofbol. Jika Perbasasi induk merupakan induk dari Perbasasi yang ada di berbagai provinsi di Indonesia begitu pula dengan divisi umpire yang ada dalam organisasi Perbasasi induk yang merupakan induk dari divisi umpire yang ada di berbagai provinsi di Indonesia. Siapapun dapat menjadi umpire. Baik laki-laki mau pun perempuan. Mulai dari kalangan pelajar, guru, pengusaha, buruh, dokter dan profesi lainnya dapat menjadi umpire. Dengan syarat mereka telah mengikuti penataran umpire minimal tingkat daerah. Hal ini dapat digambarkan dengan front stage seorang umpire kala sedang bertugas dan back stage seorang umpire saat sedang tidak menjadi umpire. Dengan menggunakan metodologi penelitian kualitatif pendekatan studi kasus, peneliti akan mengungkap mengenai bagaimana dengan front stage seorang umpire kala sedang bertugas dan back stage seorang umpire saat sedang tidak bertugas.Kata Kunci : Umpire, Front Stage, Back stage, Presentasi Diri. |
