Abstract. Vocational education is secondary education that prepares students especially to work in certain fields. The career development task that is appropriate to the age of the Vocational School is Crystallization, where the development task is to formulate general career goals through sources of awareness, interest, and planning to choose a preferred job. However, in the existing phenomenon, there are still some students of class 12th who have not prepared themselves to be able to support their careers in the world of work, such as not looking for information and have not made career decisions. Students feel that their abilities are not sufficient to enter the world of work. The purpose of this study was to see the closeness of the relationship between self-efficacy and career maturity on 12th grade students of SMKN 3 Cimahi. The method used in this research is correlational quantitative associational model. The number of samples in this study were 176 students using random sampling technique. The measuring instrument used in this study was constructed based on the concept of self-efficacy theory put forward by Bandura and the career maturity of Super. Using the Spearman rank correlation test analysis technique, the correlation coefficient r = 0.853 which indicates it is in the high category. The results obtained were 107 students (68.8%) who have low self-efficacy and career maturity.Keywords: Self-Efficacy, Career Maturity, Vocational School StudentAbstrak. Pendidikan kejuruan merupakan pendidikan menengah yang mempersiapkan peserta didik terutama untuk bekerja dalam bidang tertentu. Tugas perkembangan karir yang sesuai dengan usia SMK yaitu Kristalisasi, dimana tugas perkembangan-nya yaitu merumuskan tujuan karir yang bersifat umum melalui sumber kesadaran, minat, dan perencanaan untuk memilih pekerjaan yang disukai. Akan tetapi dalam fenomena yang ada masih terdapat beberapa siswa kelas XII yang belum mempersiapkan diri untuk dapat menunjang karirnya di dunia pekerjaan, seperti belum mencari informasi dan belum membuat keputusan karir. Siswa merasa kemampuan yang dimiliki belum cukup untuk masuk ke dunia pekerjaan. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk melihat keeratan hubungan antara self-efficacy dengan kematangan karir pada siswa kelas XII SMK Negeri 3 Cimahi. Metode yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah korelasional kuantitatif model asosiasional. Jumlah sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah 176 siswa menggunakan teknik random sampling. Alat ukur yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini dikonstuksikan berdasarkan pada konsep teori self-efficacy yang dikemukakan oleh Bandura dan kematangan karir dari Super. Menggunakan teknik analisis uji korelasi rank spearman diperoleh koefisien korelasi r=0,853 yang menunjukkan termasuk dalam kategori tinggi. Didapatkan hasil sebanyak 107 siswa (68,8%) yang memiliki self-efficacy dan kematangan karir yang rendah.Kata Kunci: Kematangan Karir, Self-Efficacy, Siswa SMK |
