Abstract. Currently, drinking alcohol is still a problem in Indonesia, especially for adolescents. The behavior of drinking alcohol among adolescents is getting out of control, no exception for young mosque activists at RW 02 Karasak Village, young mosque activist cannot overcome their drinking alcohol habit. The purpose of this study was to see the description of self-control that exists in young male mosque activists in RW 02, Karasak Village The method used in this research is a descriptive study. The study involved 30 young male mosque activist respondents in RW 02 Karasak Village. The measuring instrument in this study was developed from the concept of self-control theory by Calhoun & Acocella (1995). The results showed that most of the young male mosque activists who drank alcohol in RW 02 Karasak Village had low self-control, namely 22 respondents (73.33%). explanation based on the dimensions of Self Control is dominated by respondents with low-value ranges. In Behavior Control 20 respondents (66.67%) are in the low-value range, then in Cognitive Control 18 respondents (60%) with a low range of values, and in Decision Control 18 respondents (60%) with low-value ranges.Keywords: Young Male Mosque Activist , Self Control, Alcoholic Drink.Abstrak. Perilaku minum alkohol saat ini masih menjadi permasalahan di Indonesia, terutama pada remaja. Perilaku minum alkohol pada remaja saat ini semakin tidak terkendali, tidak terkecuali bagi remaja masjid di RW 02 Kelurahan Karasak, remaja masjid tidak bisa mengatasi kebiasaan minum alkoholnya. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk melihat gambaran self control pada remaja masjid laki - laki di RW 02 Kelurahan Karasak. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah studi deskriptif. Penelitian melibatkan 30 orang responden remaja masjid laki - laki di RW 02 Kelurahan Karasak. Alat ukur dalam penelitian ini dikembangkan dari konsep teori self control Calhoun & Acocella (1995). Hasil penelitian menunjukan Sebagian besar remaja masjid laki – laki peminum alkohol di RW 02 Kelurahan Karasak memiliki Self Control yang rendah, yaitu sejumlah 22 responden (73,33%). Dilihat dari dimensi-dimensi Self Control, menyatakan bahwa di dominasi oleh responden dengan rentang nilai rendah. Pada Behaviour Control 20 responden (66,67%) berada pada rentang nilai rendah, lalu pada Cognitive Control 18 responden (60%) dengan rentang nilai yang rendah, dan pada Decision Control 18 responden (60%) dengan rentang nilai yang rendahKata kunci: Remaja Masjid Laki - Laki, Self Control, Minuman Alkohol |
