Abstract. Married women have the role of mother and wife in the household. When she chose to work, her role was not only as a mother but also as a working mother. Both of these roles must be fulfilled optimally. The imbalance between the fulfillment of these two roles can lead to conflict, also known as work family conflict. Work-family conflict is a form of interrole conflict, which is a mismatch between role demands that come from work or family and family or work that are contradictory in several ways (Greenhaus & Beutell (1985). This study was conducted to determine the description of Work Family Conflict in the police. women with married status at Polrestabes Bandung. The sample in this study amounted to 30 people. The method used in this research is descriptive method. This research uses a quantitative approach. This research method uses the total population study. The measuring instrument used in this study is a measuring tool Work-family conflict Scale designed by Greenhaus & Beutell (1985) and adapted by Carlson et al. (2000). This measuring tool has been adapted into Indonesian by Kuntari et al. (2017). Based on the research results, it was found that work -family conflict with a female police officer with a married status in Polr estabes Bandung is at a low level of 76.7% and a high level of 23.3%.Keywords: Work Family Confict, Female PoliceAbstract. Wanita yang menikah mempunyai peran sebagai ibu dan isteri dalam rumah tangganya. Ketika ia memilih untuk bekerja, peranya selain sebagai ibu juga bertambah menjadi ibu bekerja. Kedua peran tersebut harus dipenuhi dengan optimal. Ketidakseimbangan pemenuhan kedua peran tersebut dapat mendorong munculnya konflik atau disebut juga work family conflict. Work-family conflict adalah sebuah bentuk interrole conflict yang merupakan ketidakcocokan antara tuntutan peran yang berasal dari pekerjaan atau keluarga dan keluarga atau pekerjaan yang saling bertentangan dalam beberapa hal (Greenhaus & Beutell (1985). Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui gambaran Work Family Conflict pada polisi wanita dengan status menikah di Polrestabes Bandung. Sampel dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 30 orang. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan total population study. Alat ukur yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah alat ukur Work-family conflict Scale yang dirancang oleh Greenhaus & Beutell (1985) dan diadaptasi oleh Carlson et al. (2000). Alat ukur ini telah diadaptasi ke dalam Bahasa Indonesia oleh Kuntari et al. (2017). Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, didapatkan bahwa work-family conflict pada polisi wanita dengan status menikah di Polrestabes Bandung yaitu pada level rendah sebesar 76,7% dan dan level tinggi sebesar 23,3%Kata Kunci: Work Family Conflict, Polisi Wanita |
