dc.description Abstract. Education is an important thing that must be owned by individuals. Education is not only about academics but character education. Character education is an effort made deliberately to help individuals to know, understand, and act in accordance with the prevailing ethics in society (Lickona, 2012). The city of Bandung has the Bandung Masagi program while madrasah Ibtidaiyah has its own program, namely core competencies, the 2013 curriculum and Islamic values. This study uses the Indonesian version of the School As Caring Community Profile-II measurement tool and Respect and Responsibility to teachers, staff, parents and students. This research uses descriptive study methods and quantitative analysis. The results of the high category aspect are aspects of student respect, support care by faculty support care by parent, respect and responsibility. While the results showed moderate and low aspects of the student shaping environment, student friendship and belonging and bullying. Based on these results, it is hoped that character education can become a sedentary program in schools and also work with parents to produce students with character.Keywords: education, character education, madrasah.Abstrak.— Pendidikan adalah suatu hal penting yang harus dimiliki oleh individu. Pendidikan tidak hanya mengenai akademik tetapi pendidikan karakter. Pendidikan karakter merupakan suatu usaha yang dilakukan secara sengaja untuk membantu individu agar dapat mengetahui, memahami, dan bertindak sesuai dengan etika yang berlaku di masyarakat (Lickona, 2012). Kota Bandung memiliki program Bandung Masagi sedangkan madrasah Ibtidaiyah memiliki program sendiri yaitu kompetensi inti, kurikulum 2013 dan nilai-nilai islam. Penelitian ini menggunakan alat ukur School As Caring Community Profile-II Versi Indonesia dan Respect and Responsibility pada guru, staf, orang tua dan siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode studi deskriptif dan analisis kuantitatif. Hasil dari aspek kategori tinggi adalah aspek student respect, support care by faculty support care by parent, menghargai dan bertanggungjawab. Sedangkan hasil yang menunjukkan sedang dan rendah adalah aspek student shaping environment, student friendship and belonging dan bullying. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut, diharapkan pendidikan karakter dapat menjadi suatu program menetap di sekolah dan juga bekerjasama dengan orang tua untuk menghasilkan siswa yang berkarakter.Kata kunci: pendidikan, pendidikan karakter, madrasah
