Abstract. Telemedicine is a smart health program in the form of information technology-based health services that make it easier for patients to consult with doctors without having to meet face to face. Based on a survey conducted by the Association of Indonesian Internet Service Providers, it shows that 61.2% of respondents chose not to use health applications because they lacked trust. The purpose of this study is to see the correlation between online trust in the use of health applications and health beliefs in the millennial generation. The method used is quantitative correlational to 125 millennial generations aged 23-43 years in Bandung who using m-health selected through purposive sampling technique. The trust online behavior variable in this study refers to Kim (in Sukma, Abdurrahman Adi, 2012) and the Health Belief variable in this study refers to the theory of Glanz, Rimer, & Lewis (2008). The results using the Spearman Rank correlation test obtained r = 0.696 with p = 0.000 which indicates a fairly close positive relationship between the two variables.Keywords : health belief model, online trust behavior, milenial generations, m-healthAbstrak. Telemedicine merupakan salah satu program smart health yang berupa layanan kesehatan berbasis teknologi informasi yang memudahkan pasien untuk melakukan konsultasi dengan dokter tanpa harus bertatap muka. Berdasarkan survey yang dilakukan Asosiasi Penyedia Jasa Internet Indonesia menunjukan ada sebanyak 61.2% responden yang memilih untuk tidak menggunakan aplikasi kesehatan karena kurang percaya (Trust). Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk melihat korelasi antara kepercayaan dalam penggunaan aplikasi kesehatan dengan health belief pada generasi milenial. Metode yang digunakan kuantitatif korelasional terhadap 125 generasi milenial (Generasi Y) usia 23-43 tahun di Kota Bandung yang menggunakan aplikasi kesehatan yang dipilih melalui teknik purposive sampling. Variabel Trust online behavior dalam penelitian ini mengacu pada Kim (dalam Sukma, Abdurrahman Adi, 2012) dan variabel Health Belief pada penelitian ini mengacu pada teori Glanz, Rimer, & Lewis (2008). Hasil menggunakan uji korelasi Rank Spearman diperoleh r = 0,696 dengan p = 0,000 yang menunjukan adanya hubungan positif yang cukup erat antara kedua variable.Kata Kunci : Health belief model, online trust behavior, Generasi Milenial, m-health |
