Abstract. In an effort to maintain and develop a company, one thing that should be considered is related to the preparation of the budget. Managerial participation in the preparation of the budget as a guide and provider of budget proposals in the hope that the budget can achieve the performance and objectives of the agency. However, the length of the budget discussion process due to lack of planning can cause delays in the implementation of budget preparation. Based on the statement, the researcher aims to examine the effect of budgetary participation on managerial performance. The method used by the author is descriptive verification method through the method of collecting historical data and careful observation of certain aspects related to the problem under study in order to obtain data that support the preparation of research reports. The approach used is a quantitative approach through data objects related to budgeting participation and managerial performance. The results of the analysis related to the influence of budgetary participation on managerial performance can be seen from the role of budgeting through reasons given by the supervisor when revising the budget, initiatives when preparing the budget, consideration of contributions to the budget, and the frequency of superiors asking for opinions or proposals when preparing the budget. Budgeting participation has a positive effect on managerial performance. This positive influence can be interpreted that the higher the participation of the budget compiler, the managerial performance will increase.Keywords: budget, managerial, participation, contribution, performance Abstrak. Dalam usaha mempertahankan dan mengembangkan perusahaan, salah satu hal yang harus diperhatikan yaitu terkait penyusunan anggaran. Partisipasi manajerial dalam penyusunan anggaran sebagai pengarah dan penyedia dari usulan-usulan anggaran dengan harapan anggaran dapat mencapai kinerja dan tujuan instansi. Namun, lamanya proses pembahasan anggaran yang disebabkan kurang matangnya perencanaan dapat menyebabkan tertundanya pelaksanaan penyusunan anggaran. Berdasarkan pernyataan tersebut, peneliti bertujuan untuk menguji pengaruh partisipasi anggaran terhadap kinerja manajerial. Metode yang digunakan oleh penulis yaitu metode deskriptif verifikatif melalui metode pengumpulan data historis dan pengamatan secara seksama mengenai aspek-aspek terterntu yang berkaitan dengan masalah yang diteliti sehingga diperoleh data-data yang menunjang penyusunan laporan penelitian. Adapun metode analisis yang digunakan adalah analisis regresi linier untuk melihat hubungan antara partisipasi penyusunan anggaran dengan kinerja manajerial. Hasil dari analisis terkait pengaruh partisipasi penyusun anggaran terhadap kinerja manajerial dapat dilihat dari peran serta penyusunan anggaran melalui alasan yang diberikan atasan ketika revisi anggaran, inisiatif saat penyusunan anggaran, pertimbangan atas kontribusi terhadap anggaran, dan frekuensi atasan meminta pendapat atau usulan ketika penyusunan anggaran. Partisipasi penyusunan anggaran berpengaruh positif terhadap kinerja manajerial. Pengaruh positif tersebut dapat diinterpretasikan bahwa semakin tinggi partisipasi penyusun anggaran maka kinerja manajerial akan semakin meningkat.Kata Kunci : anggaran, manajerial, partisipasi, kontribusi, kinerja |
