Abstract. The practice of buying and selling now has undergone development in accordance with the progress of human life, one of which is the sale and purchase of ancient currency. Ancient money, which was once considered a worthless and useless item, today is an antique that is widely traded in the community and can produce a lot of profits. The practice of buying and selling ancient money, one of which occurred in the Sukabumi market, interestingly in the transaction this ancient currency can be valued at a higher price. The old money of 50 rupiah can be priced up to fifteen thousand rupiah or more, depending on how rare the money is today. Once the high price offered for these ancient money, the people are interested to sell the old money they have. Departing from the phenomenon there are several issues that need to be studied, namely how the contract of sale and purchase of ancient money in Sukabumi market and how the review of Islamic economic law against the practice of buying and selling ancient currency in Sukabumi market. The research method used is descriptive method of analysis with qualitative study; the data source used in this study is the primary data source obtained from the seller and buyer of ancient money in the Sukabumi market, as well as secondary data sources obtained from books and other literature related to the discussion. Techniques used to collect data are interviews, observation, and documentation. The result of this research is the sale and purchase agreement using ba'i al musawamah namely buying and selling by way of bargaining, where the seller sets a certain price and opens the opportunity to be offered. The practice of buying and selling old money in the market Sukabumi in its implementation has met the rukun and terms of sale and purchase, so it can be said that the sale of this law is legal and has been in accordance with Islamic economic law.Keywords: Sell Buy, Islamic Economic Law, Ancient Money. Abstrak. Praktik jual beli saat ini sudah mengalami perkembangan sesuai dengan kemajuan kehidupan manusia, salah satunya adalah jual beli mata uang kuno. Uang kuno yang dahulu dianggap sebagai barang tidak berharga dan tidak bermanfaat, dewasa ini menjadi barang antik yang banyak diperjualbelikan di masyarakat dan dapat menghasilkan keuntungan yang tidak sedikit. Praktik jual beli uang kuno ini salah satunya terjadi di pasar Sukabumi, menariknya dalam transaksi tersebut mata uang kuno ini dapat dinilai dengan harga yang lebih tinggi. Uang kuno 50 rupiah dapat dihargai hingga lima belas ribu rupiah bahkan lebih, tergantung dari seberapa langka uang tersebut saat ini. Begitu mahalnya harga yang ditawarkan untuk uang-uang kuno ini, menjadikan masyarakat tertarik untuk menjual uang kuno yang mereka miliki. Berangkat dari fenomena tersebut ada beberapa persoalan yang perlu dikaji yakni bagaimana akad jual beli uang kuno di pasar Sukabumi dan bagaimana tinjauan hukum ekonomi Islam terhadap praktik jual beli mata uang kuno di pasar Sukabumi. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif analisis dengan studi kualitatif; sumber data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah sumber data primer yang diperoleh dari penjual dan pembeli uang kuno di pasar Sukabumi, serta sumber data sekunder yang diperoleh dari buku dan literatur lainnya yang berkaitan dengan pembahasan. Teknik yang digunakan untuk mengumpulkan data adalah wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah akad jual beli menggunakan ba’i al musawamah yakni jual beli dengan cara tawar menawar, di mana penjual menetapkan harga tertentu dan membuka peluang untuk ditawar. Praktik jual beli uang kuno di pasar Sukabumi dalam pelaksanaannya sudah memenuhi rukun dan syarat jual beli, sehingga dapat dikatakan jual beli ini hukumnya sah dan telah sesuai dengan hukum ekonomi Islam.Kata kunci: Jual Beli, Hukum Ekonomi Islam, Uang Kuno. |
