Abstract.ADHD is a behavioral disorder consisting of symptoms of inattetion, hyperactivity, and impulsivity. This disorder causes children to face problems both with themselves, family, school, peers, and the surrounding environment. The number of children with ADHD continues to increase. Statistical data in Indonesia shows that in the population of school age children as much as 2-4% of children suffer from ADHD disorders. Now the number of ADHD children in Indonesia has increased to 15%, which means that 1 in 20 children has ADHD. The increase in these disorders must be anticipated quickly, but the attention and handling of ADHD children themselves is still small. Usually the treatment of ADHD children uses drugs. Nearly 80% of ADHD children are treated with drug therapy, whereas these drugs can have side effects and even the return of ADHD habits once the effects of drugs are reduced. In some studies, ADHD children showed more progress when treated with psychological therapy or combined therapy. Cooking activities are one form of behavioral therapy carried out by the cooking class of KokiKecilku Tangerang but not yet widely known. The purpose of this study was to see changes in symptoms in ADHD children after participating in cooking at KokiKecilkuTangerang. The method used is the experimental method with experimental design One Group Pre-test and Post-test design. The results of this study indicate a change in symptoms in ADHD children at KokiKecilkuTangerang. The results showed that there was an influence on cooking activities on symptoms changes in ADHD children.Keywords:ADHD Symptoms, Cooking Activities, KokiKecilku Tangerang.Abstrak.ADHD merupakan suatu gangguan perilaku yang terdiri atas simptom-simptom inattetion, hyperactivity, dan impulsivity. Gangguan ini menyebabkan anak menghadapi permasalahan baik dengan diri sendiri, keluarga, sekolah, teman sebaya, dan lingkungan sekitarnya. Jumlah anak penderita ADHD terus meningkat. Data statistik di Indonesia menunjukkan dalam populasi usia anak sekolah sebanyak 2-4% anak menderita gangguan ADHD. Sekarang jumlah anak ADHD di Indonesia meningkat menjadi 15% artinya 1 dari 20 anak menderita ADHD. Meningkatnya gangguan tersebut harus cepat diantisipasi, tetapi perhatian dan penanganan terhadap anak ADHD sendiri masih sedikit. Biasanya penanganan terhadap anak ADHD menggunakan obat-obatan. Hampir 80% anak ADHD ditangani dengan terapi obat-obatan, sebaliknya obat-obatan tersebut dapat memberikan efek samping bahkan kembalinya kebiasaan ADHD begitu pengaruh obat-obatan berkurang. Dalam beberapa penelitian, anak ADHD lebih memperlihatkan kemajuannya ketika ditangani dengan terapi psikologis ataupun terapi gabungan. Kegiatan memasak merupakan salah satu bentuk terapi perilaku yang dilakukan oleh kelas masak KokiKecilku Tangerang namun belum banyak diketahui orang. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk melihat perubahan simptom-simptom pada anak ADHD setelah mengikuti kegiatan memasak di KokiKecilku Tangerang. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode ekperimen dengan desain eksperimen One Group Pre-test and Post-test design. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan adanya perubahan simptom-simptom pada anak ADHD di KokiKecilku Tangerang. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ada pengaruh kegiatan memasak terhadap perubahan simptom-simptom pada anak ADHD.Kata Kunci:Simptom ADHD, Kegiatan Memasak, KokiKecilku Tangerang |
