Abstract. Autism is understood as a neurobiological development disorder that affects learning, communication and social processes. So handling autistic children becomes more difficult especially when entering adolescence. SLB has the aim of controlling adolescent Autism difficulties. SLB Risantya has a learning program that aims to control emotions, increase independence, academic and non-academic abilities. When they first entered school all children experienced severe autism and learned the same thing but now the abilities of children are different, this is related to the important role of mothers in care. According to Skinner (2005), nurture consists of three main themes involving warmth, caring and support for independence, from 3 themes down to 6 dimensions of care. The purpose of this study is to get an overview of mothers who have Autistic Adolescent children in SLB Risantya conducted on 10 mothers. The method used is quantitative in the form of descriptive. The results obtained from this study are 1) From the theme of warmth and concern for child development, 60% of mothers show the Warmth dimension, as many as 40% of mothers show the Rejection dimension. 2) From the theme of willingness to care for children, 80% of mothers show the Structure dimension and 20% of mothers show the Chaos dimension. 3) and from the theme of support for independence, 70% of mothers showed the Autonommy Support dimension and 30% of mothers showed the Coercion dimension. From these results, mothers with autistic children in their teens at SLB Risantya Bandung showed a lack of warmth in caring for children but emphasized disciplined care and support for independence in children.Keywords: Autism, Parenting, Mother, Autism AdolescentAbstrak. Autis dipahami sebagai gangguan perkembangan neurobiologis yang mempengaruhi proses belajar, komunikasi dan sosial. Maka penanganan anak Autis menjadi lebih sulit terlebih ketika memasuki usia Remaja. SLB memiliki tujuan mengendalikan kesulitan pada Autis Remaja tersebut. SLB Risantya memiliki program pembelajaran yang bertujuan mengendalikan emosi, meningkatkan kemandirian, kemampuan akademik dan non-akademik. ketika awal masuk sekolah semua anak mengalami Autis berat dan mendapat pembelajaran yang sama namun sekarang kemampuan anak berbeda-beda, hal ini berkaitan dengan pentingnya peran ibu dalam pengasuhan. Menurut skinner (2005), pengasuhan terdiri dari tiga tema utama yang melibatkan kehangatan, kepedulian dan dukungan untuk mandiri, dari 3 tema diturunkan menjadi 6 dimensi pengasuhan. Tujuan penelitian ini mendapat gambaran pengaushan ibu yang memiliki anak Autis Remaja di SLB Risantya yang dilakukan pada 10 ibu. Metode yang digunakan kuantitatif berbentuk deskriptif. Hasil yang diperoleh dari penelitian ini adalah 1) Dari tema kehangatan dan kepedulian terhadap perkembangan anak, sebanyak 60% ibu menunjukan dimensi Warmth, Sebanyak 40% ibu menunjukan dimensi Rejection. 2) Dari tema kesediaan dalam mengasuh anak, terdapat 80% ibu menunjukan dimensi Structure dan terdapat 20% ibu menunjukan dimensi Chaos. 3) dan dari tema adanya dukungan untuk mandiri, terdapat 70% ibu menunjukan dimensi Autonommy Support dan 30% ibu menunjukan dimensi Coercion. Dari hasil tersebut, ibu yang memiliki anak autis usia remaja di SLB Risantya Bandung menunjukan kuranganya kehangatan dalam mengasuh anak namun menekankan pada pengasuhan yang disiplin dan terdapatnya dukungan untuk mandiri pada anak.Kata kunci : Autis, Pengasuhan, Ibu, Autis Remaja. |
