Abstract. Smoking is very complicated about his health, and this smoking habit is a problem that has not been resolved to date. This study won the health trust of smokers futsal athletes in the Bandung Regent Cup Tournament. If smokers have positive beliefs about the dangers due to smoking habits, then there will be someone who will quit smoking. The model of health trust is a concept that explains the reasons for individuals to want or not want to do healthy behavior (Becker, 1984). The purpose of this study was to study the description of each component of health trust in smokers futsal athletes. Data retrieval using a questionnaire compiled based on the model of health belief model. This study uses descriptive research methods, with descriptive analysis techniques. The results of this study indicate that smokers futsal athletes have negative health beliefs, namely as many as 6 respondents (60%) have negative values. While 4 other respondents (40%) had positive health beliefs. This assessment is related to smoking habits in smokers futsal athletes in Bandung Regency Regent Cup. The highest positive component is the component that benefits 7 respondents (70%), and the highest negative component is the component that feels vulnerability as much as 7 respondents (70%) and self efficacy as much as 7 respondents (70%).Keywords : Health Belief, Smoking Behavior, Futsal AthletesAbstract. Perilaku merokok sangat erat kaitannya dengan kesehatan, dan perilaku merokok ini merupakan masalah yang belum terselesaikan sampai saat ini. Penelitian ini berfokus pada health belief atlet futsal perokok di Turnamen Piala Bupati Kabupaten Bandung. Jika perokok memiliki keyakinan yang positif pada bahaya dari dampak perilaku merokok, kemungkinan seseorang akan berhenti dari perilaku merokok. Health belief model merupakan suatu konsep yang mengungkapkan alasan dari individu untuk mau atau tidak mau melakukan perilaku sehat (Becker, 1984). Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui gambaran dari setiap komponen health belief pada atlet futsal perokok. Pengambilan data menggunakan kuisioner yang disusun berdasarkan teori health belief model. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian deskriptif, dengan teknik analisis deskriptif. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa atlet futsal perokok memiliki health belief yang negatif, yakni sebanyak 6 responden (60%) memiliki nilai yang negatif. Sedangkan 4 responden lainnya (40 %) memiliki health belief yang positif. Penilaian ini mempengaruhi perilaku merokok pada atlet futsal perokok di turnamen Piala Bupati Kabupaten Bandung. Komponen positif yang paling tinggi adalah komponen perceived benefit sebanyak 7 responden (70%), dan komponen negatif yang paling tinggi adalah komponen perceived susceptibility sebanyak 7 responden (70%) dan self efficacy sebanyak 7 responden (70%).Kata kunci : Health Belief, Perilaku Meroko, Atlet Futsal |
