Abstrak. Diare sampai saat ini masih menjadi masalah kesehatan dunia terutama di negara yang sedang berkembang seperti Indonesia karena morbiditas dan mortalitasnya yang masih tinggi. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mengetahui penggunaan obat diare pada pasien pediatri meliputi jenis obat dan tujuan penggunaan, dosis yang digunakan dan ketepatan penggunaannya berdasarkan usia dan berat badan pasien di Puskesmas Gununghalu Kabupaten Bandung Barat. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian non-eksperimental dengan metode deskriptif. Pengambilan data menggunakan data resep obat secara retrospektif dengan teknik total sampling dan diperoleh 262 sampel yang memenuhi kriteria inklusi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan pasien yang menderita diare spesifik sebesar 70% dan non spesifik sebesar 30%. Jenis obat yang digunakan adalah kotrimoksazol pada 177 (38,15%), metronidazol pada 7 (1,51%), zink pada 239 (51,51%), attapulgit pada 16 (3,45%), oralit pada 14 (3,02%), dan probiotik pada 11 (2,37%) pasien. Ketepatan dosis kotrimoksazol dengan dosis tepat (99%) dan dosis kurang (1%), metronidazol dengan dosis tepat (86%) dan dosis kurang (14%), zink dengan dosis tepat (100%), attapulgit dengan dosis tepat (100%), oralit dengan dosis tepat (100%) dan probiotik dengan dosis tepat (100%).Keywords: Diarrhea, pediatrics, dose accuracyAbstract. The purpose of this study is to find out the use of diarrhea medication in pediatric patients including the type of drug and the purpose of its use, as well as the dose used and the accuracy of its use based on the age and weight of pediatric patients at Gununghalu Health Center West Bandung Regency. This research is included in non-experimental research with descriptive methods. Data retrieval was done using retrospective prescription data using total sampling technique and 262 samples were obtained that met the inclusion criteria. The results showed that patients suffering from specific diarrhea were 70% and non-specific were 30%. The types of drugs used were cotrimoxazole to 177 (38.15%), metronidazole to 7 (1.51%), zinc to 239 (51.51%), attapulgit to 16 (3.45%), ORS to 14 (3.02%), and probiotics to 11 (2.37%) patients. Accuracy of cotrimoxazole dose with the right dose is 99% and less dose is 1%, metronidazole with the right dose is 86% and less dose is 14%, zinc with the right dose is 100%, attapulgit with the right dose is 100%, ORS with the right dose is 100% and probiotics with the right dose is 100%.Kata Kunci: Diare, pediatri, ketepatan dosis
