dc.description PT Cibaliung Sumberdaya was known as the underground gold mine which applied the cut and fill type of mining method. The mining activities were conducted in two locations, Cikoneng and Cibitung. Based on mine dewatering data in 2015, the average of groundwater discharge aimed to Cibitung was 101.295.360 lt/month and to Cikoneng was 4.704.325,714 lt/month. The water discharged was considered as mining wastewater due to its containing of very subtle mud particles with pH >8.5 and TSS >200 mg/L classified as high level. Thus, PT Cibaliung Sumberdaya conducted the wastewater processing by using coagulation method which included the use of PAC, floculation with aquaklir, and HCl 1% neutralization. The coagulation method had not reached its maximum result because the high use of PAC reagent and aquaklir. The result showed that more studies about the optimized use of PAC and aquaklir in each location of wastewater processing were needed so the process could be more effective and efficient. The result of the research depicted that the optimal concentration of PAC and aquaklir for wastewater processing in Cikoneng was possible to be optimized to 235 ppm and 5 ppm with the average of wastewater volume per month around 5.262.024,214 lt/month. Meanwhile, in Cibitung, the optimized use could be up to 14 ppm and 1 ppm with the average of wastewater volume around 101.853.058,5 lt/month. Accordingly, the PAC and Aquaklir needed for wastewater processing in Cikoneng was 1.23,576 kg/month and 26,310 kg/month valued Rp.8.804.419 And Rp. 1.331.201. As in Cibitung, the PAC and Auaklir needed for wastewater processing was 1.425,943 kg/month and 101.853 kg/month valued Rp. 10.152.713 and Rp. 5.153.407.
dc.description PT Cibaliung Sumberdaya merupakan tambang emas bawah tanah yang menggunakan metoda penambangan tipe cut and fill. Aktivitas penambangan dilakukan pada dua lokasi yaitu Cikoneng dan Cibitung. Berdasarkan pada data mine dewatering tahun 2015 rata-rata debit air tanah yang keluar dari bawah tanah menuju permukaan untuk lokasi Cibitung adalah 101.295.360 liter/bulan dan untuk lokasi Cikoneng adalah 4.704.325,714 Liter/bulan. Air yang dikeluarkan tersebut dianggap sebagai air limbah hasil penambangan, karena air tersebut masih bercampur dengan partikel lumpur yang sangat halus dengan pH ≥ 8,5 dan TSS ≥ 200 mg/L yang dikategorikan tinggi. Oleh karena itu, PT Cibaliung Sumberdaya melakukan upaya pengolahan air limbah dengan proses koagulasi menggunakan Poly Alumunium Chloride (PAC), flokulasi menggunakan Aquaklir dan netralisasi menggunakan HCl 1%. Penanganan air limbah tersebut belum memperoleh hasil yang optimal karena penggunaan reagen PAC dan Aquaklir yang masih tinggi. Sehingga memerlukan kajian mengenai optimalisasi penggunaan PAC dan aquaklir di masing-masing lokasi pengolahan air limbah tersebut agar proses dapat berlangsung secara efektif dan efisien. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang dilakukan, konsentrasi optimum PAC dan aquaklir untuk pengolahan air limbah di lokasi Cikoneng dapat dioptimalkan menjadi 235 ppm dan 5 ppm dengan volume total rata-rata perbulan air limbah sebesar 5.262.024,214 liter/bulan. Sedangkan konsentrasi optimum PAC dan aquaklir untuk pengolahan air limbah di lokasi Cibitung dapat dioptimalkan menjadi 14 ppm dan 1 ppm dengan volume total rata-rata perbulan air limbah sebesar 101.853.058,5  liter/bulan. Dengan demikian, maka kebutuhan PAC dan Aquaklir dalam pengolahan air limbah di lokasi Cikoneng yaitu 1.236,576 kg/bulan dan 26,310 kg/bulan dengan harga sebesar Rp. 8.804.419 dan Rp.1.331.201. Sementara itu, dalam pengolahan air limbah di lokasi Cibitung, kebutuhan PAC dan aquaklir yaitu 1.425,943 kg/bulan dan  101,853 kg/bulan dengan harga sebesar Rp. 10.152.713 dan Rp. 5.153.407.
