Abstract. The research method that is carried out includes mapping geology data collection ( rocks hardness, crack density, percentage of quartz), laboratory test data ( rock compressive strength test and thin incision petrographic analysis) that produce rock zoning, and drilling data ( working time, drilling cycle time, depth of drill hole, and weight on bit). After that, processing the data that brings out the work efficiency value, the drill tools availability value, drilling speed value (ROP), drillability value, and the equation to find the value of drilling speed (ROP), and then will be known the effect of rocks characteristic to the drilling speed (ROP) and the drillability. Based on the research result obtained the drill 1 value of work efficiency for zone 1 is 78,58%, zone 2 is 78,67%, zone 3 is 79,97%, hand drill 2 zone 1 is 72,5%, zone 2 is 78,15, and zone 3 is 75,04%. The drilling cycle time average value of hand drill 1 zone 1 is 26,43 minute/hole, zone 2 is 23,12 minute/hole, and zone 3 is 33,62 minute/hole . Hand drill 2 zone 1 is 26,51 minute/hole, zone 2 is 19,97 minute/hole, and zone 3 is 31,72 minute/hole, the drilling speed average of hand drill 1 zone 1 is 0,1225 m/minute, zone 2 is 0,1462 m/minute, zone 3 is 0,0983 m/minute and hand drill 2 zone 1 is 0,1220 m/minute, zone 2 is 0,1593 m/minute, zone 3 is 0,0994 m/minute. The average drillability of hand drill 1 zone 1 is 1,78 hole/hour, zone 2 is 2,04 hole/hour, zone 3 is 1,42 hole/hour and hand drill 2 zone 1 is 1,64 hole/hour, zone 2 is 2,34 hole/hour, zone 3 is 1,41 hole/hour. Therefore, based on the data proves that rocks characteristic can affect the drilling speed and drillability, which is proved by the value of the drilling speed and drillability will have a low score to the hard, strong, having big percentage of quartz, and rare density rock type and so the otherwise.Keyword : rock zoning, rate of penetration, drillability, rate of penetration equation. Abstract. Metode penelitian yang dilakukan meliputi pengambilan data pemetaan geologi (kekerasan batuan, kerapatan kekar, persentase kuarsa), data uji labolatorium (uji kuat tekan batuan dan analisis petrografi sayatan tipis) yang menghasilkan zonasi batuan, dan data pengeboran (waktu kerja, cycle time pengeboran, kedalaman lubang bor, dan weight on bit). Selanjutnya dilakukan pengolahan data yang menghasilkan nilai efisiensi kerja, nilai ketersediaan alat bor, nilai kecepatan pengeboran (ROP), nilai kemampuboran, dan persamaan untuk mencari nilai kecepatan pengeboran (ROP), yang selanjutnya akan diketahui pula pengaruh karakteristik batuan terhadap kecepatan pengeboran (ROP) dan kemampuboranya. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian didapatkan nilai efisiensi kerja hand drill 1 yaitu zona 1 78,58%, zona 2 78,67%, dan zona 3 79,97%, hand drill 2 zona 1 yaitu 72,5%, zona 2 78,15%, zona 3 75,04%. Nilai rata – rata cycle time pengeboran untuk hand drill 1 zona 1 yaitu 26,43 menit/lubang, zona 1 23,12 menit/lubang, zona 3 33,62 menit/lubang, hand drill 2 yaitu zona 1 26,51 menit/lubang, zona 2 19,97 menit/lubang, zona 3 31,72 menit/lubang. Rata – rata kecepatan pengeboran untuk hand drill 1 zona 1 yaitu 0,12 m/menit, zona 2 0,14 m/menit, zona 3 0,09 m/menit dan untuk hand drill 2 zona 1 yaitu 0,12 m/menit, zona 2 0,15m/menit, zona 3 0,09 m/menit. Rata – rata kemampuboran untuk hand drill 1 zona 1 yaitu 1,78 lubang/jam, zona 2 2,04 lubang/jam, zona 3 1,42 lubang/jam, dan hand drill 2 zona 1 yaitu 1,64 lubang/jam, zona 2 2,34 lubang/jam, zona 3 1,48 lubang/jam. Dengan demikian, berdasarkan data yang dimiliki membuktikan bahwa karakteristik suatu batuan dapat mempengaruhi kecepatan pengeboran dan kemampuboran, yang dibuktikan dengan nilai kecepatan pengeboran dan kemampuboran akan bernilai kecil pada jenis batuan yang keras, kuat, memiliki persentase kuarsa yang besar, dan kerapatan kekar yang jarang, begitupun kebalikannya.Kata Kunci : Zonasi Batuan, Kecepatan Pengeboran, Kemampuboran, Persamaan Kecepatan pengeboran.
