Abstrack. Many television stations offer information and entertainment as interesting as possible to the public. However, the number of television stations does not guarantee an even distribution of information and in accordance with the needs of the people. According to the 1945 Constitution in Article 28F it reads, "That everyone has the right to communicate and obtain information to develop their personal and social environment, and have the right to looking for, obtaining, possessing, storing, processing, and conveying information using different channels "The purpose of this study is to find out whether there is a relationship between the Sign Language Language and the Information Needs of Deaf Patients. This study uses correlational methods, and uses sperman rank formulas for data analysis techniques. the population in this study were Cicendo Bandung SLB-B high school students. The sample of 40 respondents was obtained based on total sampling. The results of this study are: (1) There is a significant relationship between sign language features and information needs (2) There is a significant relationship between exposure to the media with cognitive, affective, interactive personal, social social and release needs (3) There is a significant relationship between the content of the message of the media with the needs of cognitive, affective, interactive personal, interactive social and release Keywords: Sign Language and Deaf Information Needs.Abstrack. Banyak stasiun televisi yang menyajikan informasi maupun hiburan semenarik mungkin kepada masyarakat. Namun, dengan banyaknya stasiun televisi tidak menjamin adanya distribusi informasi yang merata dan sesuai dengan kebutuhan masyarakat.Menurut Undang-Undang Dasar 1945 pada Pasal 28F berbunyi, ”Bahwa setiap orang berhak untuk berkomunikasi dan memperoleh informasi untuk mengembangkan pribadi dan lingkungan sosialnya, serta berhak untuk mencari, memperoleh, memiliki, menyimpan, mengolah, dan menyampaikan informasi dengan menggunakan saluran yang berbeda”Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui apakah terdapat hubungan antara Itur Bahasa Isyarat dengan Kebutuhan Informasi Penderita Tunarungu. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode korelasional, dan menggunakan rumus rank sperman untuk teknik analisis data. populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa siswi SMA SLB-B Cicendo Bandung sampel sebanyak 40 orang responden yang diperoleh berdasarkan total sampling. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah: (1) Terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara fitur bahasa isyarat dengan kebutuhan informasi (2) Terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara terpaan media dengan kebutuhan kognitif,afektif,intergratif personal, intergratif sosial dan pelepasan (3) Terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara isi pesan media dengan kebutuhan kognitif,afektif,intergratif personal, intergratif sosial dan pelepasanKata Kunci: Bahasa Isyarat dan Kebutuhan Informasi Tunarungu. |
