Abstract. Economic fraud is rampant in Indonesia, one of which is misuse of assets, whichhasthe potential to harm thea country andaisaone of theanation samajora problems athat cannot be compromised. Efforts to detect economic fraud suchas misuse of assets have not been maximized. To assist the government, especially law enforcement agencies in detecting asset misuse, forensic accounting and investigative audits are used as a tool in detecting asset misuse and other fraud. This research was conducted at the Republic of Indonesia BPKP West Java Province. The study population was BPKP RI employees of West Java Province totaling 218 people. The independent variables examined in this study are forensic accounting (X1) and investigative audits (X2), while the dependent variable is fraud detection (Y). Data collection is done with library research (library research) and field research (field research). The collected data is then analyzed by percentage descriptive analysis and multiple linear regression analysis. The results of the analysis show that the effect of forensic accounting on fraud detection in the BPKP RI of West Java Province is 34.05% and the effect of the investigative audit on fraud detection in the BPKP RI of West Java Province is 33.05%.Keywords: Forensic Accounting, Investigation Audit, Fraud DetectionAbstrak. Kecurangan ekonomi marak terjadi di Indonesia salah satunya yaitu penyalahgunaan aset yang dimana tindakan tersebut berpotensi merugikan negara dan merupakan salah satu masalah besar bangsa yang tidak bisa diberikan kompromi. Upaya dalam mendeteksi kecurangan ekonomi seperti penyalahgunaan aset belum maksimal. Untuk membantu khususnya penegak hukum dalam mendeteksi penyalahgunaan aset, akuntansi forensik dan audit investigasi digunakan sebagai alat bantu dalam pendeteksian penyalahgunaan aset dan kecurangan lainnya. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada BPKP RI Provinsi Jawa Barat. Populasi penelitian adalah pegawai BPKP RI Provinsi Jawa Barat yang berjumlah 218 orang. Variabel bebas yang dikaji penelitian ini adalah akuntansi forensik (X1) dan audit investigasi (X2), sedangkan variabel terikatnya adalah pendeteksian fraud (Y). Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan penelitian kepustakaan (library research) dan penelitian lapangan (field research). Data yang telah terkumpul kemudian dianalisis dengan analisis diskriptif persentase dan analisis regresi linier berganda. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa pengaruh akuntansi forensik terhadap pendeteksian fraud pada BPKP RI Provinsi Jawa Barat sebesar 34,05% dan pengaruh audit investigasi terhadap pendeteksian fraud pada BPKP RI Provinsi Jawa Barat sebesar 33,05%.Kata Kunci : Akuntansi Forensik, Audit Investigasi, Pendeteksian Fraud
