dc.description Abstract. Material Requirement Planning (MRP) is a method used to control raw material inventory at the company. A company to implement policies in the planning of raw materials must have an appropriate calculation in order to avoid the advantages and disadvantages in raw material inventory. This research has purpose to know whether the application of Material Requirement Planning (MRP) method at Linda Sari bakery in planning raw material inventory can run effectively and efficiently.Material requirements planning using MRP method in this paper using lot sizing method, where lot sizing methods used are Lot-for-lot (LFL), and Part Period Balancing (PPB), and using the least squares forecasting formula as a reference for know the amount of raw material requirement in the future. To be able to apply Material Requirement Planning, some file that is request file one period backward (file history) to be processed doing Forecasting, Master Production Schedule, Bill off Material, and Inventory Record.The result of this research is that raw material inventory planning system at Linda Sari bakery using Lot-for-lot method is Rp.1.200.000 and Part Period Balancing method (PPB) is Rp.818.514 From the two MRP methods above, it can be seen that the method of Part Period Balancing (PPB) has the lowest total inventory cost of Rp.818.154,- meaning that the company can minimize the inventory cost by 31%. Thus it is proven that one of these MRP methods can play a role in the efficiency of raw material inventory costs to Linda Sari bakery.Keywords: Material Requirement Planning (MRP), Lot-Sizing, Forecasting Abstrak. Material Requirement Planning (MRP) adalah suatu metode yang digunakan untuk mengendalikan persediaan bahan baku pada perusahaan. Suatu perusahaan untuk menerapkan kebijakan-kebijakan dalam perencanaan bahan baku harus memiliki perhitungan yang tepat agar tidak terjadi kelebihan dan kekurangan dalam persediaan bahan baku. Penelitian ini mempunyai tujuan untuk mengetahui apakah penerapan metode Material Requirement Planning (MRP) pada pabrik roti Linda Sari dalam merencanakan persediaan bahan baku dapat berjalan secara efektif dan efisien.Perencanaan kebutuhan material dengan menggunakan metode MRP dalam tulisan ini menggunakan metode lot sizing, dimana metode-metode lot sizing yang digunakan adalah Lot-for-lot (LFL), dan Part Period Balancing (PPB), serta menggunakan rumus peramalan least squares sebagai acuan untuk mengetahui besarnya kebutuhan bahan baku dimasa mendatang.Untuk dapat  menerapkan Material Requirement Planning, beberapa data yaitu data permintaan satu periode kebelakang (data history) yang akan diolah melakukan Forecasting, Master Production Schedule, Bill off Material, dan Inventory Record.Hasil penelitian ini bahwa, sistem perencanaan persediaan bahan baku pada pabrik roti Linda Sari Menggunakan metode Lot-for-lot sebesar Rp.1.200.000 dan metode Part Period Balancing (PPB) sebesar Rp.818.514 Dari kedua metode MRP di atas, dapat diketahui bahwa metode Part Period Balancing (PPB) memiliki total biaya persediaan paling rendah sebesar Rp.818.154,- artinya perusahaan dapat meminimalisasikan biaya persediaan sebesar 31 %. Sehingga dengan demikian terbukti bahwa salah satu metode MRP ini dapat berperan dalam mengefisiensi biaya persediaan bahan baku pada pabrik roti Linda Sari .Kata kunci : Material Requirement Planning (MRP), Lot-Sizing, Peramalan
