Abstract. Dyslipidemia is the most vascular risk factor in stroke patients in young age. In a Finnish study of stroke patients in young age, the most common vascular risk factors were dyslipidemia (60%), smoking (44%), and hypertension (39%). The purpose of this study was to describe the lipid profile of ischemic stroke and bleeding stroke  young age patients in RSAU Salamun Bandung for the period March 2016– 2018. This study was a quantitative design with descriptive method, cross-sectional design with a retrospective approach from medical records of ischemic stroke and bleeding stroke patients. Data were analyzed descriptively by calculating the percentage of the variables determined, namely assessing the level of lipid profile of ischemic stroke patients and young age bleeding. The results obtained 111 stroke patients, there were 85 ischemic stroke cases at RSAU Salamun Bandung in the period March 2016-2018, 34.2% had high total cholesterol levels, 29.7% had high levels of LDL cholesterol, 36.9% had good HDL cholesterol levels and 48.6% had Low triglycerides and 26 cases of bleeding stroke in RSAU Salamun Bandung in the period March 2016-2018, 9.9% had good total cholesterol levels, 7.2% had high levels of LDL cholesterol, 12.6% had good HDL cholesterol levels and 19.8% had low triglycerides. Opportunities for young strokes were based on lipid profile levels (P = 0.05). Conclusion in this study more ischemic stroke and bleeding strokes patients have abnormal lipid profile levels and opportunities for young strokes to lipid profile levels showed insignificant results (p ≥ 0.05).Keywords: stroke, lipid profileAbstrak. Dislipidemia merupakan faktor risiko vaskular terbanyak pada pasien stroke usia muda. Penelitian di Finlandia pada pasien stroke usia muda, faktor risiko vaskular yang paling umum adalah dislipidemia (60%), merokok (44%), dan hipertensi (39%).Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui gambaran profil lipid pasien stroke iskemik dan perdarahan usia muda di RSAU Salamun Bandung periode Maret 2016– 2018. Penelitian ini merupakan rancangan kuantitatif dengan metode deskriptif, disain cross-sectional dengan pendekatan retrospektif dari catatan rekam medis pasien stroke iskemik dan stroke perdarahan. Data dianalisis secara deskriptif  dengan menghitung persentase dari variabel-variabel yang ditentukan yaitu menilai kadar profil lipid pasien stroke iskemik dan perdarahan usia muda. Hasil penelitian diperoleh 111 pasien stroke, terdapat 85 kasus stroke iskemik di RSAU Salamun Bandung Periode Maret 2016-2018, 34.2% memiliki kadar kolesterol total tinggi, 29.7% memiliki kadar kolesterol LDL batas tinggi, 36.9% memiliki kadar kolesterol HDL baik dan 48.6% memiliki Trigliserida rendah dan dari 26 kasus stroke perdarahan di RSAU Salamun Bandung Periode Maret 2016-2018, 9.9% memiliki kadar kolesterol total baik, 7.2% memiliki kadar kolesterol LDL  batas tinggi, 12.6% memiliki kadar kolesterol HDL baik dan  19.8% memiliki Trigliserida rendah. Peluang terjadinya stroke usia muda berdasarkan kadar profil lipid (P = 0,05). Simpulan pada penelitian ini pada pasien stroke iskemik dan stroke perdarahan lebih banyak memiliki kadar profil lipid abnormal dan Peluang terjadinya stroke usia muda terhadap kadar profil lipid menunjukan hasil yang tidak sigifikan (p ≥ 0,05).Kata Kunci: Stroke, profil lipid
