Abstract.This reserch aimed to know how the effect of premiums and claims on the profit of Sharia Life Insurance companies in the 2016-2018 period. Insurance participants are required to pay a premium that is the payment of a specified amount of money that has been determined to the insurance company, so that later the participants can submit a risk-bearing right by the insured to the insurance company that called a claim. The  premiums and claims, both have affected the profits of the insurance companies, because the premium is income for the company while the claim is an expense that can reduce the profits obtained. This study is a descriptive verification research with a quantitative approach with Sharia Life Insurance companies as the population. The analysis technique in this study used is the multiple linear regression analysis. The results of the analysis using the F test showed that premiums and claims affect earnings with Sig. of 0,000. Then the results of the t-test analysis showed a significance value of 0,000 premiums and claims of 0.002 which means that both of these variables significantly influence the profit of Sharia Life Insurance companies.Keywords: Premiums, Claims, and ProfitAbstrak. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui bagaimana pengaruh premi dan klaim terhadap laba  perusahaan Asuransi Jiwa Syariah pada  periode 2016-2018. Peserta asuransi wajib membayar premi yaitu pembayaran sejumlah uang yang nominalnya telah ditentukan kepada perusahaan asuransi, sehingga nantinya peserta dapat melakukan pengajuan hak penanggungan resiko oleh tertanggung kepada perusahaan asuransi yang disebut klaim. Premi dan klaim, keduanya mempengaruhi  laba yang diperoleh oleh perusahaan asuransi, karena premi merupakan pendapatan bagi perusahaan sedangkan klaim merupakan beban yang dapat mengurangi laba yang diperoleh. Penelitian ini termasuk jenis penelitian deskriptif verifikatif dengan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan perusahaan Asuransi Jiwa Syariah sebagai populasinya. Penelitian ini menggunakan analisis regresi linier berganda. Hasil dari analisis menggunakan uji F, menunjukkan bahwa premi dan klaim berpengaruh terhadap laba dengan nilai Sig. sebesar 0,000. Kemudian hasil analisis uji t menunjukkan nilai signifikansi premi sebesar 0,000 dan klaim sebesar 0.002 yang menunjukkan bahwa kedua variabel tersebut memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap laba perusahaan Asuransi Jiwa Syariah.Kata Kunci: Premi, Klaim, dan Laba
