Abstract. The youth have a desire to forge more intimate friendships with their peers and friends exerted a greater influence in place of the influence that parents give. The role of friends in adolescent orphanages is becoming more important because the number of caregivers who act as parents ' surrogates is not comparable to the number of foster children so that most teenagers have not received enough attention from caregivers. One of the factors related to SWB is social relationships. Teenagers living in institutions are less satisfied with their lives and psychological welfare is lower than their peers who do not live in institutions. Teenagers living in orphanages are less able to get a warm and harmonious friend. The purpose of this research is to know how much friendship is influenced by the young SWB orphanage in the city of Bandung. The method of study used is quantitative non-experimental causality with a sample number of 333 subjects from 26 orphanages chosen in random systematic sampling. The collection of data using the measuring instruments of children's World is the satisfaction of friendship, CW-SWBS, and OLS. The results showed that friend satisfaction had an effect on SWB (CW-SWBS = 23.3%, and OLS = 14.2%) Youth Orphanage in the city of Bandung. The factors that influence friendship satisfaction in the orphanage youth in the city of Bandung is whether the treatment of friends to them.Keywords: Adolescent, Orphanage, Friendship Satisfaction, Subjective-Well BeingAbstrak. Remaja memiliki keinginan untuk menjalin hubungan pertemanan yang lebih akrab dengan teman sebayanya dan teman memberikan pengaruh yang lebih besar menggantikan pengaruh yang diberikan oleh orang tua. Peran teman pada remaja panti asuhan menjadi lebih penting karena jumlah pengasuh yang berperan sebagai pengganti orang tua tidak sebanding dengan jumlah anak asuh sehingga sebagian besar remaja belum cukup memperoleh perhatian dari pengasuh. Salah satu faktor terkait SWB adalah relasi sosial. Remaja yang tinggal di institusi kurang puas dengan kehidupannya dan kesejahteraan psikologis lebih rendah dari pada teman sebaya seusianya yang tidak tinggal di institusi. Remaja yang tinggal di panti asuhan kurang mampu mendapatkan teman hangat dan harmonis. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengetahui seberapa besar pengaruh kepuasan pertemanan terhadap SWB remaja panti asuhan di kota Bandung. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif kausalitas non-eksperimental dengan jumlah sampel 333 subyek dari 26 panti asuhan yang dipilih secara random systematic sampling. Pengumpulan data menggunakan alat ukur dari Children’s World yakni kepuasan pertemanan, CW-SWBS, dan OLS. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kepuasan pertemanan berpengaruh terhadap SWB (CW-SWBS = 23.3%, dan OLS = 14.2%) remaja panti asuhan di kota Bandung. Adapun faktor yang mempengaruhi kepuasan pertemanan pada remaja panti asuhan di kota Bandung adalah baik tidaknya perlakuan teman terhadap mereka.Kata Kunci: Remaja, Panti Asuhan, Kepuasan Pertemanan, Subjective-Well Being |
