Abstract. The phenomenon of violence in dating does not only occur in closed spaces but is very easy to find in public spaces and takes the form of physical, verbal & emotional, sexual violence. Victims who have low self esteem make them unable to get out of these conditions of violence. Dating violence has a physical and psychological impact on its victims, one of which will make them lower their self-esteem and become more dependent on their partners. The subjects in this study were 30 people and the sample was obtained through Accidental Sampling. Retrieval of data using the Self Esteem scale consists of 35 items and the scale of dating violence consists of 65 items. Processing data using the Spearman Rank coefficient statistical test, obtained -0.782 with. The existence of a negative sign in the correlation coefficient indicates a negative direction of the relationship, meaning that the lower the self-esteem, the more support violence in dating. A total of 21 people have Self Esteem in the high category and 9 people in the low category. A total of 16 people have Inner Split violence in the high category and 14 people in the low category.Keywords: Self Esteem, Dating Violence, YouthAbstrak. Fenomena kekerasan dalam berpacaran bukan hanya terjadi di ruang tertutup saja melainkan sangat mudah ditemukan di ruang publik dan berbentuk kekerasan fisik, verbal&emosional, seksual. Korban yang mempunyai Self Esteem rendah, membuat mereka tidak bisa keluar dari kondisi kekerasan tersebut. Kekerasan dalam pacaran memberikan dampak fisik maupun psikologis pada korbannya, salah satunya akan membuat semakin menurunkan self esteem mereka dan semakin ketergantungan dengan pasangannya. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah 30 orang dan sampel diperoleh melalui Accidental Sampling. Pengambilan data menggunakan skala Self Esteem terdiri dari 35 item dan skala kekerasan dalam pacaran terdiri dari 65 item. Pengolahan data menggunakan uji statistik koefisien Rank Spearman, diperoleh -0,782 dengan. Adanya tanda negatif pada koefisien korelasi menunjukkan arah hubungan yang negatif artinya semakin rendah self esteem maka semakin mendukung kekerasan dalam pacaran. Sebanyak 21 orang memiliki Self Esteem dengan kategori tinggi dan 9 orang dengan kategori rendah. Sebanyak 16 orang memiliki kekerasan Dalam Berpecaran dengan kategori tinggi dan 14 orang dengan kategori rendah.Kata Kunci: Self Esteem, Kekerasan Dalam Pacaran, Remaja. |
