Abstract. Boarding school is one of the formal education systems in Indonesia. Education in pesantren contains all aspects, ranging from academic, religious, skill, to character coaching. When attending boarding school students are required to live separately with parents. Various problems arise when students are unable to conform themselves in the environment. Problems often occur, both from within the individual and from the social environment. This research aims to find out the relationship between self efficacy and self-adjustment in students in pondok pesantren "X" Bandung. The subject of this study is all students in pondok pesantren "X" Bandung which numbered 169. Its data collection uses the GSE (General Self Efficacy) questionnaire (Jerussalem and Schwarzer, 1995) and scale derived from Aspects according to Runyon & Haber (Afifah, 2017). The analysis technique used is rank spearman. The results showed there was a self-adjustment relationship with efficacy cells with a correlation coefficient (r) of 0.486. With the direction of positive relationships it can be concluded that the higher self efficacy that students have then the higher the self-adjustment in the student. On the other hand, the lower the Self Efficacy that the student has, the lower the adjustment in the student.Keywords : Self Efficacy, Adjustment, Boarding SchoolAbstrak. Pondok pesantren merupakan salah satu sistem pendidikan formal di Indonesia. Pendidikan di pesantren memuat semua aspek, mulai dari aspek akademik, agama, keterampilan, hingga pembinaan karakter. Ketika bersekolah di pondok pesantren siswa diharuskan untuk tinggal terpisah dengan orang tua. Berbagai permasalahan muncul ketika siswa tidak mampu menyesuaiakan diri di lingkungan tersebut. Permasalahan sering terjadi, baik yang berasal dari dalam diri individu maupun yang berasal dari lingkungan sosial. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara self efficacy dengan penyesuaian diri pada siswa di pondok pesantren”X” Bandung. Subjek penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa di pondok pesantren “X” Bandung yang berjumlah 169. Pengumpulan datanya menggunakan kuesioner GSE (General Self Efficacy) (Jerussalem dan Schwarzer, 1995) dan skala yang diturunkan dari Aspek menurut Runyon & Haber (Afifah, 2017). Teknik analisis yang digunakan adalah rank spearman. Hasil penelitiannya menunjukan terdapat hubungan penyesuaian diri dengan sel efficacy dengan koefisien korelasi (r) 0,486. Dengan arah hubungan positif dapat disimpulkan bahwa semakin tinggi Self Efficacy yang dimiliki siswa maka semakin tinggi penyesuaian diri pada siswa tersebut. Sebaliknya semakin rendah Self Efficacy yang dimiliki siswa maka semakin rendah penyesuaian diri pada siswa tersebut.Kata Kunci : Self Efficacy, Penyesuaian Diri, Pesantren |
