Abstrak. Ketombe merupakan pengelupasan kulit kepala yang berlebihan dengan bentuk besar-besar seperti sisik-sisik disertai dengan adanya kotoran berlemak,rasa gatal, dan kerontokan rambut. Ketombe dapat disebabkan oleh mikroorganisme, salah satunya Malassezia furfur. Ketombe dapat diatasi dengan sediaan antiketombe, salah satunya penggunaan sampo antiketombe yang mengandung zat aktif Zinc pyrithione. Zinc pyrithione dapat menghambat pertum buhan jamur Malassezia furfurs. Selain sebagai antijamur, Zinc pyrithione terbukti sebagai cytostatic agent, yang mengurangi laju pergantian epidermis, sehingga mengurangi ketombe. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengetahui efektivitas Zinc pyrithione dalam sediaan sampo antiketombe. Metode yang digunakan dalam review jurnal ini yaitu studi pustaka dengan mencari sumber atau literatur berupa jurnal nasional dan internasional. Hasil yang didapatkan berdasarkan penelitian-penelitian sebelumnya Zinc pyrithione 1% sebagai antiketombe dalam sediaan sampo memiliki efektivitas antijamur yang baik karena dapat menghambat pertumbuhan jamur penyebab ketombe. Hal tersebut sesuai dengan Peraturan Kepala Badan Pengawas Obat dan Makanan Nomor 18 Tahun 2015 dibatasi 2% untuk produk dibilas dan 0,1% produk non bilas.Kata kunci: Zinc pyrithione, ketombe, antiketombe, sampo.Abstract. Dandruff is an excessive exfoliation of the scalp with a large shape such as scales accompanied by the absence of fatty impurities, itching, and hair loss. Dandruff can be caused by microorganisms, one of which is Malassezia furfur. Dandruff can be overcome by antietombe, one of which is the use of antiketombe shampoo containing the active substance Zinc pyrithione. Zinc pyrithione can inhibit the pertum of malassezia furfurs mushrooms. In addition to being antifungal, Zinc pyrithione is proven to be a cytostatic agent, which reduces the rate of epidermal turnover, thus reducing dandruff. The purpose of this study is to know the effectiveness of Zinc pyrithione in the antietombe shampoo. The method used in riview jurnal is the study of libraries by searching for sources or literature in the form of national and international journals. The results obtained based on previous studies Zinc pyrithione 1% as anticetombe in shampoo content has good antifungal effectiveness because it can inhibit the growth of fungal causes of dandruff. This is in accordance with Regulation of the Head of Food and Drug Control Agency No. 18 of 2015 limited to 2% for rinsed products and 0.1% non rinse products.Keywords: Zinc pyrithione, dandruff, antiketombe, shampoo. |
