dc.description Abstract. Structural Equation Modeling or abbreviated as SEM is a combination of factor analysis, regression analysis and path analysis used to examine the relationship between latent variables. In its development, there are covariance-based and variant-based SEMs. Variance-based SEM analysis is present as a solution to the limitations of covariance-based SEM where the sample size can be very small, the data does not have to have a normal distribution, and indicators can be reflective and formative. In this study, the focus is on variant-based SEM analysis using the Generalized Structured Component Analysis (GSCA) method. Estimating parameters in this analytical approach uses the Alternating Least Square (ALS). This study aims to determine the effect of service quality and facilities on student satisfaction in the Statistics Study Program, FMIPA, Bandung Islamic University. The results of this study are the quality of services and facilities have an influence on student satisfaction where campus facilities have an effect of 34.1%, while the quality of service is 18% and the remaining 47.9% is influenced by other variables not explained in this study. Where the FIT value is 0.5686 which shows that the model is able to explain about 56.86% of the variation from the data.Keywords: Structural Equation Modeling, Generalized Structured Component Analysis, Alternating Least Square, Service Quality.Abstrak. Structural Equation Modeling atau yang disingkat SEM merupakan kombinasi antara analisis faktor, analisis regresi dan analisis jalur yang digunakan untuk menguji hubungan antarvariabel laten. Dalam perkembangannya, terdapat SEM berbasis kovarian dan berbasis varian. Pada analisis SEM berbasis varian hadir sebagai solusi terhadap keterbatasan SEM berbasis kovarian dimana ukuran sampel bisa sangat kecil, data tidak harus berdistirbusi normal, dan indikator dapat berbentuk reflektif dan formatif. Pada penelitian ini fokus pada analisis SEM yang berbasis varian yaitu dengan menggunakan metode Generalized Structured Component Analysis (GSCA). Pendugaan parameter pada pendekatan analisis ini menggunakan Alternating Least Square (ALS). Pada penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh antara kualitas pelayanan dan fasilitas terhadap kepuasan mahasiswa Program Studi Statistika FMIPA Universitas Islam Bandung. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah kualitas layanan dan fasilitas memberikan pengaruh terhadap kepuasan mahasiswa dimana fasilitas kampus berpengaruh sebesar 34,1% sedangkan kualitas layanan sebesar 18% dan sisanya 47,9% dipengaruhi oleh variabel lain yang tidak dijelaskan dalam penelitian ini. Dimana Nilai FIT sebesar 0,5686 yang menunjukan bahwa model mampu menjelaskan sekitar 56,86% variasi dari data.Kata kunci: Structural Equation Modeling, Generalized Structured Component Analysis, Alternating Least Square, Kualitas Layanan.
